The Scrambler from Honda's stable..
The CB350 RS is practically a CB350 H'ness with slight styling tweaks.
It shares the same engine, chassis, fuel tank, front wheel, brakes and lots of other stuffs. But, what's different is they have change, the seat, rear grab rail, back light unit to give it the 'Scrambler looks'. And to complement the new seat and rear fender setup a smaller diameter 17inch wheel is added with a wider 150 section monoblock thread pattern tyre. The side cover is also replaced with a plastic version with a different profile. Then, to give it a proper Scrambler riding position a lower handle bar is added and a blacked out footrest holder with slightly raised and rear set foot pegs. The exhaust has also been blackened out and raised slightly to complement the whole Scrambler looks.
At the front, the round headlight box is changed slightly although the actual headlight assembly remains the same. A rubber fork boot and shorter front fender is also added to complete the looks.
The RS comes with two color variants.. Mono tone ( which is red with black stripe) and Dual tone ( Black and yellow). There's roughly ₹1000 difference between them.
Well, all these slight styling changes makes a whole lot of difference in the way the bike handles corners. It has transformed a comfortable cruiser to great corner curving tool and an added bonus of the capability to tackle bad roads and go off roading as well ( hence the addition of aluminum bash plate to protect the chassis).
One of our favorite changes is the revised riding position and the MRF KURVE tyres at both ends. This two changes transforms the bike's handling as well as gives it a much better cornering clearance.
Honda has cleverly provided 2 totally different bikes with a slight styling changes, saving them a lot of money on R&D .

As we know, modern bikes especially BS VI version is mostly smooth, have a great handling, more torque.. But,as we are human, we always find pros and cons in almost everything. If we are gonna buy, we ourself should have a test ride it,and then we can know whether it is meant for us or not

Please note the RS lacks the charging port, doesn’t have the heel gear shifter, can’t have double or longer seat due to the higher brake light position, and won’t have easy to configure touring accessories like the top rack. If you do add the top rack, it will block the brake light making it a compromise on safety. Get the RS only if you want a sporty bike without touring features.

But, the RS is much more comfortable at long rides.. the H'ness seat is intolerable... specially for the pillion rider.

@@InfoBikesCars I disagree. The highness is more comfortable for long distances due to the more straighter riding position and longer seating option. You can add dual seating in the Hness and not RS. Also the stock seating on the Hness and RS is not very different. Why do you feel RS is more comfortable?

The H'ness seat looks more comfortable but it is not. We have been using H'ness for touring with pillion and we definitely are not happy with the seat. The slightly longer seat does not makes much of a difference. The slightly thicker seat of the RS id much better... comfort wise..

@@InfoBikesCars I agree. I was referring to the customization options for the hness. You can put a double seat for the Hness and it becomes very comfortable. You can’t do that for the RS. But I agree that the RS seat is very comfortable.
