I remember a man who lived several houses away from my boyhood home riding by with a brand new 750 the first year they were available in the USA.. I ran all the way to his house to see it up close.. he was happy to show it to me and I’ve loved it ever since. I’ve never owned one, but I would love to own one! Love this episode and all episodes!

That's so cool. Yes, they are very cool bikes, but that must have been in 1969 - 1970?

I have a very similar memory but with a hayabusa. I saw him riding through the neighborhood and so I excitedly rode my bike around every house looking for it. I found him working on it in his driveway and he was happy to let me get a closer look

This channel gets better and better! I have installed a GSX600R-93 front fork on my CB750-74 build. I first tried the All-Balls bearing swap kit, but the GSX steering stem was too short. I had to swap steering stems, the CB750 is 30mm in diameter but the hole in the lower fork brace on the GSX is 30.3mm. I had ream up the hole and make a bushing. But the front forks between CB750K and F could be different.

Happy Easter! Nice one! Those crankshaftbearings needs some kind of "clay" to measure the thickness. Those wheels can be made with spokes quite easily. Remove the rivets, make a ring that fits the hub. In that ring, you make holes for spokes. Find a rim and put it all together. Easy peasy! Looking forward to the next film. Now it's riding time! Cheers!

Ooooo this'll be good. The knocking could be a couple of things, primary drive chain tensioner, drive rubbers in the main shaft or dampeners behind the clutch basket.... if there's a "rattle" that can sometimes be the starter clutch bolts working themselves loose or cam chain tensioners needing adjustment.... Vance and Hyde do their own chain tensioners - race quality. Ive been slowly working on my own 82' 750 for bloomin years now and its still not finished with various things getting in the way. More than happy to help you avoid mistakes I've made along the way. Especially if your short on time although ive not done an engine rebuild. My inspiration was Hookie Co's build. They've done a few now but it was their first cb750 79-83 check it out, the one with the stripe across the tank. Good luck Pete

Aint that the truth.... i know from searching for what i thought was a spark issue turned out to be swapped wires at the pulsars ... done by the PO... no workshop manual is ever going to troubleshoot that in a month of Sundays. Keep on keeping on but hurry with the next installment, please 🙏

I mean yea all thread might not be the right thing for the job but it’s more than strong enough and if it’s stainless or zinc coated it’s corrosion resistant. Overall the use of threaded rod is ingenuous for a quick fix.

Hey mate, the best thing you can do is start dismantling the engine and putting everything into bags making sure you label every part. The next step is getting yourself a workshop manual and follow it step-by-step, you can easily avoid overwhelmed by just doing one part at a time. If you’re not in a desperate hurry to have it finished, it’s quite rewarding to take your time, and you’ll learn so much in the process. Of course you can google everything and this engine is so popular that there will be loads of videos showing different aspects of the rebuilding process. Hopefully that Help 👍

Whereabouts are you located? If you can get hold of a workshop manual. It will make life a lot easier when reassembling the entire engine Make sure you label everything that you remove so you know where it goes. If you’re unsure about certain parts, you can look at the schematics on CMS website, or possibly, the manual should have the information you require. There’s plenty of videos showing the rebuild of this motor if you get stuck 👍
