It was a usual sunday ride, I had a lot of fun on some mountain roads and I was going back home, when after passing one of many cars I saw a cop in the middle of the road that pulled me over. At first I was quite relaxed because I knew the bike was stock and I had all the documents that I needed, I didn't even realize he pulled me over for the overtake I did basically in front of him, because in my mind that was pretty much one of the safest spots one could overtake a car. Anyway after he told me what you heard in the video he just went back to his car without saying anything else to check my license, insurance etc. for what felt like an eternity, after that he gave me a ticket basically for riding at high speed in general. I know he was tecnically right and I was lucky to only get a 30€ ticket, but still I'm convinced there are tons of spots where overtaking is much more dangerous and if the cops actually wanted to do their job properly they should be stoping people that overtake in those kind of spots, not on a wide straight road. Era la solita uscita domenicale, mi ero divertito su alcune strade di montagna e stavo tornando verso casa, quando dopo aver passato una macchina vedo un poliziotto in mezzo alla strada che mi fa cenno di accostare. All'inizio non ero preoccupato perché sapevo che la moto era originale e avevo tutti i documenti, non avevo neanche realizzato che mi aveva fermato per il sorpasso che avevo fatto praticamente davanti a lui, perché dal mio punto di vista quello è uno dei posti più sicuri per sorpassare. Comunque dopo avermi detto quello che avete sentito nel video è tornato alla macchina senza dirmi nient'altro per controllare patente, assicurazione etc. per quella che mi è sembrata un'eternità, dopodiché mi ha dato una multa praticamente per viaggiare a velocità non commisurata alle condizioni del traffico. So che tecnicamente aveva ragione e avrebbe potuto essere molto più severo, però sono convinto che ci siano tantissimi posti dove sorpassare è molto più pericoloso e se la polizia volesse davvero fare il proprio dovere, dovrebbe fermare la gente che sorpassa in quel genere di posti, non su una strada dritta dove si ha piena visibilità.
