Hi, I need your help, my car Honda Civic 2010, and I lost my chip of the key as well I only left they key with me can I change the key with the one that I brought from eBay?

Do Valet keys have to be programmed? I asked Honda for prices on FOB keys and Valet keys. The prices were different for each key, but both had to be programmed for $80 they said.

What year is your Accord?? Mine is a 2011 and I don’t see the chip on the side. My 2007 Honda I remember had the chip on the side.

When I purchased my car, all I was given is the valet key (grey key in video). How do I go from just having that one key, to having a fob that locks and unlocks my doors?

Same here. I also have the valet key, and trying to get the black key. Any luck yet ?

Sigh! All these things that say emergency help all depend on still having the damn chip. Arrrgh! Is there no help to be had???

You will need to have the chip, no way around it. Any chance you can come up with an extra key? Maybe the valet key?
