I love people who think the 50's and pre WWII America was so sweet and wholesome--because of TV no less.

That’s the trueness of nostalgia...it reflects the time or the present society that ppl in power, WISH,it should be or should’ve been... a fantastic reality... a false reality... a narrowed and or hollowed out reality.... a shadow and or, imitation of what truly was/is.
