It is so weird to watch these campaign videos. I bought remastered just before my first daughter was born 5 years ago. I put the game on hold and never was able to come back to any gaming for the last 5 years. Watching this teleports me into a very different life. Home world just gives me the feels since the original and every time for a different reason

Defector: Oh, you know, the Empire's corrupt, decadent, rotting from within-- Kushan Officer: Your ship was painted a different colour. Defector: Bingo. Kushan Officer: Yeah, not surprised. We've got quite a few in our fleet like that. Heavy Cruiser Captain: HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE LIEUTENANT WASN'T MY HUSBAND?!

It's crazy. I've gotten so used to DoK that hw1r and hw2r have gone back to being rather difficult for me lol. These videos have been good reference for possible strategies.

Yeah i felt the same for a bit at first too

And now I caught up to the story. It's been a wild ride so far, one that I expect will get wilder as you continue xD

Depending on your playstyle Kushan were the Gypsies of the universe - moving on and stealing all ships they could get their hands on xD in one of the last missions you can steal like 100+ ion frigates alone xD

Taiidan: “We got him. We got Captain Elson and his single destroyer” “Wait, mothership class signature detected” “Multiple frigates and capital signatures detected” Exile fleet: “You pulled the wrong fleet out of hyperspace Mothafuckas”

Thanks for these uploads dude. Just found your channel. The meds I take make it pretty difficult to play Homeworld again. Looking forward to H3 if you are doing a playthrough.

Absolutely I am. Cant wait.

I finally traded my original copy in for the remaster and am going through the campaign for the first time again, just got to this level. Would love to see the rest of the campaign uploaded! (Also that struggle to find the probes had me laughing and yelling at the same time, I bet you could hear us in the comments as you figured it out)

With all the upcoming combat I doubt you'll have time to talk about the ships, but at least we'll hopefully have some cool space combat. Plus I like the mixed fleets. When it comes to RTS games players tend to spam only the best units, which I understand it's the most effective way to win. As a viewer however I like to see a variety of units all working together, it's feels more lifelike, fighters protecting the frigates, frigates supporting the capital ships ect. A headache for the player but as a viewer I enjoy it so if possible continue the mixed fleets.

@@fonesrphunny7242 heavy cruisers and destroyers in missions 10-11 are also good candidates. You can already have maximum pop cap for destroyers by mission 10 so you can finish 11 with at least 8-9 destroyers and 2 cruisers, and possibly the 3rd cruiser on 12

I know so many people have asked you this but when do you plan on finishing homeworld 1. Just got into your content and literally watched dok twice and finished watching what you have on homeworld 1 so far. Love your content and you have made me fall in love with homeworld lore and lore of the ship’s and deserts of kharak military craft.

It's not DoK but while we await those lomg awaited casts I suppose it will have to do... I hope that you are keeping well in the currrent circumstances and that we will see som more DoK soon as I have started watching your casts from the start just to pass the time in isoloation and "working from home" but I have seen them so many times now that I know them all so we NEED new ones... Looking forward to them. Love the new casts though. Good to have you back

defenders are useful depending on the situation just like all ships. they have a very low build time allowing for replacing units quickly when things go sideways most people just do not look at the stats or play strategical and just try to copy others which does not work out for them and then they blame others or the unit. Defenders do not suck

Hey. How are your twins and family doing? Ready to get back into the glory of Homeworld? Can't believe it's been 9 months since we've last been in this playthrough. If you need a refresher, I would recommend watching the playthrough yourself. I see so many youtubers trying to find their place after a long while and I thin, you have the same access we do. So I got a little impatient and I built a whole PC 3090ti and all and I went ahead and beat Homeworld remaster. Hope to see more content from you or at the very least I’ll see you out there in pvp lol

Yeah. I just had twin boys, so im on leave and very busy with that. Things will settle down a bit in a few months and I can start producing content again.

@@Dreamlands15 Good to hear. I was around when my baby sister was born, I can't imagine with twins. How did you get on leave though? I thought the mother got that. By the time they are older, Homeworld 3 will come out so you'll be able to show them the wonders of that. May Sajuuk smile on you.

@@Dreamlands15 Cool. Is that what slowed you down? You were partly trying to do it on a bad PC. Take your time and I hope HW3 is not delayed beyond 2022 because of the virus. Though fans gave them 1 and a half million dollars s so there better be no crap.
