Dreamlands you deserve so much more subs,your commentaries during the game are really good Also do you and the comments section recommend buying the game by the current price,getting it on g2a or waiting for a steam sale?

captain Rex Thank you :) I definitely recommend the game, wirth every penny. Afaik, most players are on the steam version.

I understand the appeal of the cinematic shots, but you really spent so long doing it. It was a hectic game and there's no time to discuss all of it in a cast but a little more attention paid to those things would be really nice - sometimes you are looking directly at something really important and get distracted watching pulsars flying around! great cast as always though, just nitpicking

Fear Thanks for the feedback. Its difficult to strike the right balance between the tactical focus, and the cinematic. Also I still need to learn what all of the various abilities even look like.

These battles just seem so chaotic. :) Interesting to see those frigates just charge through to do econ damage. Even though they got cleaned up, I guess that helped turn the tide.

There are couple of factors they swung this match, the corv hard counter and the eco sniping. For me HW1's major advantages are in their combat repairs thanks to support Corvs and Frigs as well as not being vulnerable to module snipes. But HW1 needs Ion Frigs to deal with Frig spam, also if you look at the chat, Fear wants those Grav wells early because HW1 frig rush can immediately hyperspace for eco snipes.

hw1 can hyperspace any units frigate or larger at any time from anywhere if they have the rus so gravwells are needed - hyperspace inhib is a synonym thats why hw1 gravwells are usually called gravs and hw2 gravwells are usually called inhibs

The issue with the Higarra force is the power in their destroyers, pulsars, and torp-frigates. Those are 3 things you must counter, and backed by Vayger frigate and corvette flooding, there is little a flood of your own corvettes will do. They let their resources get focused down, and did not transition into assault/ion frigates and destroyer/missile destroyer soon enough. The later two could have helped counter the corvette spam and to force away or kill the carriers constantly resupplying in the front. Sad to see another glorious Tiidan loss, but at least there was no Higaaran destroyer spam, that one got shut down pretty fast.

Epic Game. Shoutout to Fear for the A1 Strats. Always a pleasure to watch you play bro. Would love to see a 3 way FFA on a large map to see some lategame. Games seem to end soon as destroyers hit as one team or the other folded to the initial rush or the counter attack. @Fear do you always open eco until you know what the opponents are doing? Seems like that gave you a huge advantage to jump ahead while they prepared their vette push.

on a map this size in a 2v2 its pretty safe to get 2-3 patches running, however you'll notice that the very first units i make in every game are 2 probes - i send these immediately to see what my opponents are up to so I don't get caught out by a rush or something my gameplay will change depending on how my opponent moves i should also mention vaygr are the most macro-loving race of the four; their units are best-in-class so if they max out its hell to deal with

FFA will be difficult because of how the spectator mod works. All of the players will appear red other than the ones I team with. Makes it very difficult to track what is happening. Ill try to set up a 3v3 as soon as I can tho.

Proper Homeworld 1 remake. Make it an X-COM style build up while the Taiidan hunt you style game.

If you haven't yet, you should try the Star Wars Warlords: Remastered mod, however its in early development still so some of the Balancing is/still needs tweaking.

Change the background color - "here i made a new map for Homeworld"

I found myself shouting at the TV screen several times during the 1st half about things you missed. I think you should try to watch you own vids once you make them and take notes about what you could have done better. Another thing is most of the time the actual action is 1.4 of the screen. With Homeworld if makes no sense to ZOOM out. We have sensor view for that. If you are not in sensor view, your camera should be in the thick of battle all the time

Aradim90 Not sure what you can do when you have that many pulsars on top of your head. Anything you build is insta-toast. I imagine not letting it get to that point is your best bet lol.
