I also had never heard this lovely song before

The lyrics are so appropriate for young folks just starting out, knowing they can return home. But they are especially poignant for us old folks, where “Homeward Bound” takes on a whole new meaning. Thank you for this beautiful song, 💕

😥😪 . Very well said. Sad though because my husband is 86 and is very close to taking that "Homeward Bound" journey. God has been good to us and has given us an extra Spring and Summer after a, let's say, cancelled "journey" last January. Amazing isn't it how a good song can be both sad and very uplifting all at the same time...

The way it is presented in this video is so quiet and gentle, which makes that return home something to be looked forward to, rather than dreaded. I listen to it daily, just as a reminder of good things ahead.

This is a very moving song. It speaks to me of our individual earthly journeys and our return to our God and our loved ones.

My husband passed away earlier this month. Listening to this hS brought me peace. It's so beautiful. Thank you.

We sang this song at my grandparents’ funeral. It’s always been a special one, and this arrangement was phenomenal. Thank you both for how much you lift us all with your music

Here I am, tears running down my cheeks and I don't even know why. It touches every part of my soul, and I doubt that many other singers could sing this song the way you both do. Every note you sing is never wasted as your voices are so, so beautiful - we never worry about whether you are going to hit a high note or not, everything flows so beautifully.

This is a talent way too wholesome for AGT. They’ve spread their mission, and connected with so many people through what they’ve done, in so much better a way than on such a public, and honestly over glorified stage as AGT. That much popularity may completely derail the work they’ve done, and take away the meaning that it has for so many people.

And I am a 15 year old male and I know it is not very common for someone like me to love to listen to y'all and love y'all so much but I have grown a love for both of y'all and y'all's voices it brings tears to my eyes

Thank you for the beautiful rendition of this song. It has had a special meaning in my life for many years. I first heard this song in high school when my mom was fighting cancer. I will never forget playing the song for her and the feeling that filled the room. Tears filled her eyes. Today as I listened to your version I gained new understanding as to why. Hubby and I love you guys so much.and eagerly look forward to every new release. In Sydney, Australia we have been in strict lockdown since June - no sign yet of it ending, may not be till the end of the year. We are in our 70s, and miss our family so much! Would so love to be able to hug our 5 grandchildren! Hope you and your family stay safe and well!
