We need to stop letting the mentally ill destroy the cohesiveness of the country. My family tree includes so many groups that bitterly hated each other in their own countries and formed incredible family lives here. I grew up in a town where we revered a historic Indian chief from that area. I don't want these threads of our national fabric erased. That beautiful art, drawn by a native, which honored her heritage in a product that was developed through cultural engagement represented our ways here.

“Courage is knowing that something hurts and doing it anyway, and stupidity is the same thing, and that’s why life is so hard.” I have phrased it this way recently and it seems to work “the difference between courage and stupidity lies almost exclusively in the results.”

JOHN HENRY and other homesteaders, look into starting a PMA (private membership association) . Some like minded homesteaders associated with our chapel started one as a completely legal way to barter and sell with other members regardless of FDA regulations. We get raw milk, meat, honey , alcohol literally anything we want and the gov can’t do 💩 about it

Matt; "What would you do if you were made Pope?" should be a standard question for all guests from now on.🤣 Great idea letting the kids roller skate through the Palace. I was picturing them doing roller derby with a bunch of nuns in full habits. I thought you would make The Brothers Karamazov a part of mandatory RCIA training...you know to help people understand the wrestling of their faith. And to combat the poverty of the human soul. Could you also add Pope, Nun and Rosary emoji's; because the world needs those.

7:48 it’s funny cause I once told my grandfather that I didn’t think women should be firefighters and he was a retired firefighter who disagreed. I’m sure there are jobs they can do at the firehouse and in the military or in the police force (because I think there might be more opportunities for a woman to be useful in the police force as dealing with other women and there so much training and equipment that can kind of level things). That being said, when I had heard that the training was different for women, I said the only women that should get in is the women that can pass the same test as the men. It just seems logical and fair. To me though it’s mostly about the physical difference. As a woman who is 5’2” and I do work a physically demanding job, my father used to buuuuuuug me on and on and on about going to the police force or the fire department and I was like “pfffft, naw I’m good. I cannot see me lifting a man that’s 200 pounds and running him out of fire and I have no desire to deal with the x marks the spot cops have on them”.

I was on Houston METRO light rail and buses today. METRO service OK. But what gave me a headache was children screaming constantly and louder than George Jetson's JANE! And NO attempt to correct or quiet them! Walmart was worse. Parents glued to their cells. Children walking around, and they seem as if they were drugged up on some psychedelic medicine. It is getting to the point I do not want to leave the house.

There are legal ways around regulations for things like raw milk, for example. There is a program called "herdshare" where you can legally buy raw milk because you technically own a portion of the cow. At least in Ohio, that's the only legal way to do that.

For anyone interested, "pasturized" milk means it's been boiled. Why? For most of human history, milk was drunken raw; but during the industrial revolution, cows were placed in horrible urban living conditions where they ate contaminated waste for food, and this made their milk full of harmful bacteria. The government's solution? Instead of feeding the cows grass and giving them normal pastures, they kept feeding them the toxic waste and just started boiling the milk to kill the bacteria. The government eventually got involved and made it mandatory for all the milk to be boiled for bacteria before selling it. But if you have healthy grass-fed cows on your property (in Minecraft), it's good to collect the milk straight from the cow and drink it (in Minecraft).

48:30 Sarcasm, cynicism, and "cheesiness" are related in the sense that all three are an aversion and subversion of things that are truly good and beautiful. When a cynically-sarcastic person of secular values encounters things that are genuine and beautiful, it makes them uncomfortable and they have to subvert its genuine qualitiy in some way in order to derive something ironic and secular from it.

May I suggest also getting Elliot Hulse on your show? He is a famous red pill strong manly man who (in his early years strayed away from Catholocism and went into eastern spirituality) returned to the CC after going through a fame crisis and hearing Jesus call him to return home and to go to confession. He is now a masculine influencer who is strongly Catholic. I would love to hear Matt talk to him about the degeneration of society and the destruction of strong manly role models.

I don’t think something anti-porn could be apolitical and non-religious: the only such approach is to come at it from a point of anti-destruction. That is, we love the person, and we love society, and pornography destroys both, so we are against pornography. However, to be opposed to the destruction of the person is to be opposed to Satan (since his goal is the destruction of the person), which is a religious perspective. To be opposed to the destruction of society is to want to conserve those things which keep society healthy and block those things which would harm it, which is a political position. The anti-porn message is inherently both political and religious, and that's a good thing.

Hello P.W.A. While I listened to this particular podcast I pondered the discussion about something I believe you called “Exodus 90”. As I listened you described some kind of activity where you did several things like cold showers, drinking a shot of bourbon, and perhaps some other spiritual activities. ( it was not fully described and I am not familiar with this activity ). Somehow the conversation led to a comment like “women should not do this”- it was followed by comments on how women should not be police officers, firefighters, or in the military. I want to belive that your intention was not ill-willed- but how misogynistic. Those comments are YOUR relative truth and not helpful in a culture where women and children still struggle for equality and respect., Mr Fradd please remember that in Genesis 1:26-27 God said that Adam. AND Eve were BOTH made in His likeness. And in Genesis 2:18 “we read: “ Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him “- notice it says helper not “weaker or lesser” helper. I think you should consider that all women and men must be valued for their unique qualities and abilities . Please try to refrain from archaic generalizations about gender roles. Those comments are not helpful and inaccurate. Perhaps a little less focus on those “manly” vices like drinking and smoking and a bit more of a focus on a person’s unique gifts and qualities will help in your evangelization efforts.

Has Matt truly run out of episode ideas?! Did he really pay for this guy? Here's an episode suggestion: have Dr. Ben Akers from the Augustine Institute with the iconographer Jonathan Pageau discuss how to appreciate religious artwork, along with the differences between Eastern and Western styles. There is so much symbolism in them that many people would love to learn about.

What a pompous condescending comment. Catholic Horticulturist/Homesteader here…. This was one of my favourite episodes. Men just being men, talking about real life. I’m sure your suggestion is great, but if this episode isn’t tuned to your tastes don’t slap people like me in the face for genuinely enjoying this conversation. God’s creation and talking about the natural world is just as beautiful as discussing art…

Genuinely want to know what is evil about a happily married gay couple in a loving relationship adopting a young girl who will be safe and loved with a family when the alternative is for her to be in an orphanage? What…is…..wrong…with….that???? And going so far as calling it evil…..John, I know you are still a young man and you need to really evolve in this area

Doesn't they're lifestyle preclude children? Also, as a former civil servant, we don't have orphanages anymore, due in part to the gay lobby. Children are now wards of the state and put into foster care, favoring homosexual households when they are found. It's an abusive, inhuman system which your own compatriots created. The homosexual community has a huge problem of fetishizing child abuse. This isn't new. We've known this going back to 1930s. Even the father of homosexual studies in the West, Magnus Hirschfield, labelled homosexuality as a legitimate form of deviant behavior, to explore sexual relations with "mature" minors. Along with the experiments of Alfred Kinsey, John Money...the homosexual lifestyle abuses, mutilates, and drives children to suicide. Not that you ever knew what you were talking about. Yours is an emotional conviction devoid of understanding or knowledge. Try to "evolve" out of your pedophilic beliefs.
