yes that is correct and the distance from the lens to the wall should be around 9 ft , less or more the picture starts to blur.I bought mine 4 years ago and I still use it to this day

Can you set it at an angle? Basically, I would have mine on an angle and sitting on a tallish dresser (about 4’ off the floor).

Honestly I'm on a hunt for a projector with for the planets and probably adding a Galaxy projector. I literally went through so many videos you're the first video, that doesn't have all the extra unnecessary Small talk music etc. I need to be soothed. I need to see what's going on I love this video because you literally unbox everything in silence and that's everything for me.

No you can only do this by creating distance. There is only 1 wheel to sharpen.

Pitch black rooms give the best result, streetlights from outside don't make much difference as you can see at the end of the video. However watching tv does dilute the projection quite a lot.

Could I use a smart plug to run the Flux with Alexa? If the power of the Flux is left on and the same plug shuts off, when the smart plug gets turned back on again, does the Flux automatically come back on?

Still images, you can turn on a falling star that displays over the disc now and then but it's not too impressive.

The disc does rotate so it's not a still image tho. It projects a part of the disc that turns so it isn't rotating the image as a whole.

The DS1 is a different size. The Miller, I think, might fit, but I’d Google it to be sure.

Quality of camera might go down because of lack of light, in the end of the video I have my curtains open which should take quality from the lamp but on camera it looks better imo.

I have had mine for 2 years now. Don’t put your expectations too high. Its nice but it’s not HD quality. It also leaves me wanting more so I decided to try the Dark Skys DS-1.

The most beautiful discs i’ve seen are from the makers of the ds-1, miller engineering. They make discs for several different brands and even have some images from JWT!

I don't have a dark ceiling but when I project it on black fabric the projection seems to be significantly less bright.

The only original I have is the hemisphere that comes with the device. In my opinion it is the best looking one together with the disapearing continent by Astrial.

I paid 189 euros for this one. I do think it's quite expensive but the only one that compares and looks even better is the ds-1 but that one starts at 580 usd.

If it's not bright enough try to bring the projector closer to the ceiling. If the projection isn't sharp enough try spinning on the wheel on top and you can also check if the disc is dirty or damaged.

Also tried spinning the focus knob on top but no luck. The discs don’t appear to be damaged but I read somewhere that other brand (compatible) discs may look better but now I’m hesitant to buy more discs 🤥
