This was a great interview, thank you both. You didn't interrupt each other, and you each showed genuine respect and appreciation for the other. It was a pleasure spending my time on this.

This was such a great episode and so inspiring to me! I wrote down one thing that Jennifer said that I loved. She said, “I believe this desire has been put in our hearts for a reason. I don’t want fear to be the reason I don’t follow this.” I loved Jennifer being so open and honest about her journey. I go to bed reading patterns or finding patterns online or watching sewing tutorials, I wake up and the first thing I do is look online for anything new. I carry graph paper everywhere I go so I can draw new quilt pattern designs. I am a nurse, wife and mom but any time I am not doing those things, I am at the sewing machine. Thank you Misty for having Jennifer on your show and thank you Jennifer for sharing your story!❤

Misty, all my life I have felt guilty, “beat myself up” as you say, so I know how awful that is, very draining. I just turned 68 and have only recently in the last couple years learned to let it go. God bless you dear, you are lovely - nothing to feel bad about it, just keep it moving forward. God bless you ❤ You are so talented Misty, beautiful sewer and a really great interviewer. Jennifer was a wonderful guest.

What a wonderful discussion! Jennifer Long's story (journey) in many ways is parallel to the Missouri Star story and journey. Life is full of changes and unpredictability, thank goodness!

Loved the interview with Jennifer! I have purchased a few of her projects and want to make them all! I absolutely love her designs, the details, and instructions are very clear. I wish I would have started quilting years ago or ever thought I could have accomplished what you two ladies have while raising children. Mine are grown and I have 7 grandchildren. My sewing has taken a backseat in the last year though I am always looking at patterns and fabric and still buying things to make. Listening to what has been said in this video has motivated me to get busy and see if I can declutter my basement to expand my sewing room which I so need to do. I also need to make use of a treadmill to try to improve that part of my life. Exercise! Years ago I remember when I made it a priority how much better I felt and had the energy to do more!!! Thanks for your stories and inspiration! Keep up the great work and I will try to get back to sewing way more and take care of more of the unfinished and dig into many other purchases! I really don't want to be a fabric/project collector! I want to see the end result!

This was such an interesting interview. I set 3 goals for myself when I retired. 1 has been passed on to others, 1 was dumped and I am still following the third. I wanted to make a quilt for each of my kids and my grandkids. Finished that the first year and have moved on to brothers, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews. Well all family which keeps growing. I also do charity quilts. I just feel my best when I am quilting. Thank you for this interview and your tutorials which I watch constantly.❤
