Thank you for reaffirming everything! I'm a veteran homeschool mom. I've graduated 3 of my kiddos and I'm going through a Senior year again with another child this year. Its good to have your input and support! Seems im still always learning after 21 years of this.

OMG- these talks are so helpful! We've been using a classical "boxed" curriculum this year with my 3 kids and my 16-year-old has been overloaded with 8 subjects plus football/wrestling plus church class. Only 4-5 hours would be a great relief to him! Looking forward to meeting you and attending your talks at GHC Greenville in March!

Is 7th grade too late to start Charlotte Mason style teaching? It seems a lot of her foundational teachings start in elementary age.

What math do you suggest for 7th and 8th grade math.. we have been using Alpha and Omega for 5 years

Hi. We are new to HS and am eager to learn as much as possible using the CM method however my son is 12yrs old and my only concern is that we have missed out on all the beautiful teachings of CM. My question is do you think it is possible to gain the beauty of the method at this age. I really want to follow this method through secondary school but am still finding me feet as to say and our flow. PS this is my son's account, forgive the image

When you said the child was four.... I was shocked. I was thinking MAYBE second grade at the youngest.
