Homeowner Was SHOCKED At The Transformation - UGLY LAWN Makeover Start To Finish YARD CLEANUP

Ойын-сауық

This is a property that is in distress and badly needs some TLC. This job took me about 5 hours to complete, but I thought it turned out pretty good. We started off with mowing because everything was super wet. By doing this it allowed us to let it dry out while we completed everything else and made the final cut a lot easier. After that we trimmed everything and then edged. We finished it off by taking care of the volunteers around the property and trimming some bushes and pampas grass.

I volunteered to cut my neighbor's yard today for free! Going back tomorrow to rake up and do more weed trimming. Homeowner had fallen upon hard times, but might offer me some cash to maintain his yard this summer. He seemed surprised I'd do the work for free. Thanks for the inspiration to reach out to my neighbor!

I have an old lady lives next to me and I cut her grass when I cut mine, I always did it since she moved in except when I have to use a push mower then I only cut the front 5 min job. but in return, her son comes and weedeats my ditch once a year (I spray weed control once a year) But I do it because when my mama was alive her next-door neighbor always cut her grass (I live 60 miles away and worked sometimes 6 r 7 days a week but I would cut it anyway

I'm truly sorry that your daughter has been suffering from stage 4 cancer for several years. That's awesome though that her lawn care guy said that he would still mow her lawn free of charge. If I were a landscaper or lawn care guy or if I become one one of these days I would do the exact same thing if I found out that a homeowner has cancer or other medical issues that a homeowner may be suffering through.

What a difference!! You are the yard angels! I used to own a home & a single man bought the corner house next to our property. He let the grass grow to the point the neighborhood called the city on him and the city cut his long grass (and left it a mess- did not bag the trimmings) & charged him...more than once. I had a couple conversations with him after the first incident and trimmed his forsythia bushes a couple times. He said he bought the property because it had such a pretty yard! People: if you don't intend to keep up a yard, do your neighbors a favor and don't buy a corner property. It makes a statement for the whole neighborhood!

Never have the side discharge pointed towards the house. Being a landscaper myself, that is a disaster waiting to happen. A high school buddy that worked for me, did that. He ended up picking up a rock and it smacked the siding, busting it off the house, that is my rule of thumb, do NOT point the discharge to the customers house. An keep in line. You will be surprised how many people will try to make crazy designs, but end up messing the yard up. I do up and down and from side to side.

I am an occupational therapist and worked with home health care companies for 17 years. It was usually easy to spot a new patient’s home. Even without droughts and crazy expensive water, a stroke, worsening arthritis, cognitive decline, surgery or illnesses cause even passionate gardeners to re-prioritize yard maintenance when they are fighting with every ounce of energy to stay in their home and be independent. Even if there is family to step up and help, your work is such a gift. Yep, Here comes love on a lawn mower.

Oh man, I wish I had that mower when I was in high school. My folks planted an acre in lawn and flower beds, some of it on a hill. Every weekend I had to mow. Didn’t matter if I had a date, the only evening I could date was Friday night. Saturday I mowed during the day and babysat on Saturday night. My parents night out was Saturday and I, the oldest of 5, I had to babysit. This man works hard, I know how hard.
