Homeostasis and Negative/Positive Feedback

Explore homeostasis with the Amoeba Sisters and learn how homeostasis relates to feedback in the human body. This video gives examples of negative feedback (temperature and blood glucose regulation) and positive feedback (events in childbirth). We made a homeostasis video when we first started, back in 2013. Looking back at the old video, we cringe: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aJqcxMR_lJfPk7w.html. Petunia didn't know how to draw, but she wanted to get better. Pinky recorded her voice with nothing planned out. But we're not going to delete it, because 4 years later, this video has shown how we have learned how to create with constant practice. We are still getting better; you can see our milestones here! www.amoebasisters.com/milestones If you are a creator on KZread (or anywhere), please keep doing so. The world needs more creators after all. Like driving a car in a highway ,the speed limit is similar to the balanced state of the body, the driver is the brain, the effectors are the pedals, negative feedback loop is the series of actions taken when you are either to slow that you are inconveniencing the car behind or too fast that you are reaching the speed limit; and lastly positive feedback loop is when you are running a red light.

I love the way you guys explain the material, I was hoping to find a video about atoms, and hydrogen bonds and anything to do with that subject but you guys don’t go in depth with it. Is there anyway you guys could make a video about it with more detail? That’d be great! :)

I really love your channel. I teach science to homeschool students and I use your bio vids regularly. I love how the images enhance but do not distract from the content being shared. I used to use other instructive videos but they were either distracting or boooooring. Your vids are right on target and really help solidify the information for my students. Thanks for taking the time to do these.

Whenever I get tired from making my little "self study" book I watch this channel. Then afterwards I go "Oh that's a great way of putting this as a definition" or "Ooh I can add that to my little book of study notes" Afterwards... I honestly don't feel tired anymore. Well... this + cat videos...
