Front wheels might keep the mower more level. Nice project. In my que of projects is putting a motor on my 4848 inch Mott flail mower was originally designed as a pull-behind for garden tractors outfitted with a Wisconsin 14 horsepower motor. My Mott mower did not come with the original motor and I'm putting a Wisconsin 17 horse motor on it. Great to see this post.

Hello, great job. I have a question, did you balance the mower shaft? I did the same but I didn't balance the shaft, there are little slight wobbles but it works.

My 18hp DuroMax engine that I mounted on my sawmill has done a great job for the last 3 years. A 20hp Honda is $2k. The DuroMax shipped to AK cost me $400.

If it could be offset behind the quad or in front of the quad, you dont have to ride over everything before mulching it.
