Its 2-in-1 = double beneficial Drilling+ also use to pulling out mud Great 👍 Thanks
Love your choice in music. 🤘🏼
Great video. Congrats from Argentina
Very good manuval Idea god bless you
One thing that I noticed that you may not have. He drilled into already softened dirt. If he were to try to dig into hard dirt that thing wouldn't work so well
Good for planting... Specially when you are digging many holes at a time.. It would be helpful..
That was predug soil, so it was really soft for the auger to work. Near the bottom was firmer soil that's why it kept jumping around.
Great idea, successful execution, but the "like" goes to the Jack Daniels t-shirt... 👌
Great video! I wonder if they can be used to make irrigation ditches.
Very good idea, thanks for posting. 👍👍👍
Yes nice soft ground, try it on hard ground.
I like The idea! I wonder if this could cut some roots
Good for planting shrubs and young trees etc But can't these be bought? I don't have all those tools to make one.
Great idea for POROUS SOIL. I doubt it’s going to work well or at all in CLAY or HARDPAN
1.You could have just used a flat piece of circular steel no reason to ruin a saw blade other than risk cutting your foot off. 2. They make augurs for this purpose that work much better.
Geo Matrix 1 second ago I just used this method to drill a 7" x 48" inch deep hole to install a 14 ft pole for security cameras. It works great! If you're concerned about cutting your leg you probably don't need to be using ANY type of power tools to begin with...
Parabéns pelo invento, muito útil !
That's bloody clever mate.
Yoooo i just can't help but smirk how cool this is!! XD
I could have been done with the work by the time you got done building this 😂😂😂
Good for planting many holes...
Clever. I like ideas that don't benefit the big companies. Ignore the jealous comments.
@5:21 you can clearly see that the hole had been pre-dug and then filled in again. In other words, he faked it.
Hey great idea goin to try see what happins Thanks for sharin your project with us
For hard ground use a smaller 125mm blade, as the drill will not have enough torque. drill multiple holes in a group to make a big one. It will not work in clay and rocky soil, as the rocks will jam and stall the blade, and the clay will just clog it up and stick to it stopping it from cutting.
That was some soft ass dirt I want to see you do that in some hard dirt like Vegas desert
Can only be used for soft soil not stony
Excellent job...!! By any chance do you sale it..
Hi Dr., Loved it, can l purchase one from you 👍??? I need on for the size of them wooden fence posts: 4x4x8 😉!!!
Wouldn’t work at all here. I have 6” of topsoil followed by 20 feet of pure, wet, red clay. Even the skidsteer hydraulic augers bind up. Good old posthole digger is still the best. 42” deep, 8” diameter hole in 15 minutes tops. How do I know? I just dug 22 of them last weekend for a new fence.
I can see the construction problem of the tool, the edge of blade is slicing first, it is not like drill bit do it, wrong construction, doctor DS, please make an upgrade and bend tool that center of blade dig first, then you dont need to rotate drill while digging, it will go down by itself, english is not my language.
Good idea but you need to use a mixing drill instead so you don't burn up that makita , makitas are good but the torque and friction from this application will destroy em.
Good idea Doctor! I need a tool that 😉👍
Great for spiral slicing your leg into a holiday ham! Actually, I would try it, in soft soil.
An A for ingenuity but definitely not the go-to for post holes.
Excelente.
I have to try this.. THANK YOU!!
This is really good for the drill
That was great. Now, make one up that can bore down through at least 8 feet, with 12 feet being better, of heavy creek mud riddled with old broken tree limbs, pieces of broken concrete and plenty of other detritus from over 150 plus years of history including commercial tug and barge operations, warves and a Civil War encampment area with fortified artillery batteries and possibly a graveyard, so I can set new pilings for an existing pier? Can I expect to see it by Tuesday? Thanks, in advance... (Just kidding, but just this morning I was thinking of a way to do something similar to yours to expedite my project. You've helped my thought process, so thanks! )
DUUUUDDDE! I knew it was simple, you nailed it.
It takes two hours to go a foot and a half in the ground where I’m at In SA Texas. I’m at using a jackhammer two hours per hole on average for post holes.
Sweet idea
look closely, he's digging in a mound of dirt, not the ground. So it's probably very loose to being with. I doubt that thing would make a hole in the actual ground without a lot of work. But good good idea!

Augers are an spiral screw ,sadly the concept hasn't caught on ,great drill killer ,even struggling in lose dirt
I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now using a 4 1/2 inch blade to plant flowers and bulbs with. It’s fast and effective for landscaping.
What is the name of the track playing?
You are genuine my friend i love to follow your video its really cool.... Gerald from Mauritius Island..
Will build one on my channel too. Awesome
Merci pour cette excellent vidéo ! Je vais vous copier !
This guy must get through dozens of power cables on his angle grinder. I am also impressed with how he checks the sharpness of the edge he just ground with his hand.
Very good idea
Great idea
I didn't think it would work very well, but I am wrong. Great job!!
That's awesome. And the music, excellent.
"how to waste your time to make a tool to kill your drill battery while slowly diging holes in only softest terrain possible (and better pray if you encounter a stone) - the movie"
Looks like the hole was already dug out at 5:22 and filled back in so you could use this tool to remove dirt with ease.

Maybe its a tilled garden, this would be great for transplanting tomato, peppers, squash. Any plant with a large root ball.
Great useful information
Nice work bro.keep it up
Good work
It doesn't work, so it easily hangs on roots and rocks in the ground. Maybe it works without the teeth.
I like how your thinking out of the box!
The soil looked pre-dug. I've used petrol purpose built motor and augers many times. And they don't even dig nice like that, especially if you hit rock!
Very good video
Somebody noticed the hole was pre dug then filled back in. I watched it again and yes it was pre dug!
So good ideas, love u
One of the best invention that almost can be used by any one who owns a yard thank for sharing
that has to be the least rocky soil I've ever seen. Is he drilling loam?
Very nice thank you bro 👍💚💜💛🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Great work. greetings from Austria.
Cool. Its handy to have a tool like that if you want to dig a hole in a pile of planting soil you just dropped
Would like to see it work against clay under the dirt
Ahhh! Very good! Genial... Than you
love u broo🇵🇸🇲🇾🇵🇸
Looks good until you try that in my yard. You might get about a foot before you hit the shale, clay, and boulders. Cool ideal for good soil. I think so would have had my hole dug with my post hole digger in the time it too to make this though.

Basshead Thats what I was thinking would have happened in my yard too. Clay and rocks.
Muito bom! Parabéns.
This is kewl! Might be better if it had an aux handle 180 degrees from the other handle, in case of a root or rock...this is a great idea! I intend to make me one...if only for the novilty of it! THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO !!!

Lee Williams
It works in loose dirt
Let’s see that work in some #1 Georgia red clay🤣
Look like the hole had drilling before sorry if i am wrong but for all this still good idea bro thanks so much sharing
Very smart Excelente work Great video
The soil looked loose to begin with? But, good job. I can weld and fab some, but looks a little dangerous, lol.

*Cut all theeth with grinder & weld a long piece of metal as bucket..*
5:22 pre-drilled hole.
enjoyed the vid , A spade or post hole digger is easier though
That's a very very good job mate.... Cheers.
It's a good start, now weld 3-4 of them together spiralling up and you have an auger.
Very cool project
I do believe you can buy one of those in various sizes for not too much money. I have seen the smaller ones (2-3" size) in home garden centers and they come in handy for planting bulbs, especially if you have many holes to make. I suspect that size would work well for potted plants.
not bad! the hole was made already,
Excellent, I need me one of these.
I can see a person with a new set of stitches in his ankles lol.
I like it.
Isn't this just an auger?
