The extract of white elder flowers has a very positive effect on the immune system and helps to strengthen and maintain immunity throughout the year. The main field of application of the white elder flower extract is for the treatment of colds, flu, viral infections and any other type of acute or chronic infectious diseases affecting the respiratory system.
Required Ingredients:
30 pieces of white elderflower.
Two liters of water.
Two lemons.
One kilogram of sugar.
A teaspoon of citric acid.
You carefully clean the colors and wash them briefly.
Put them in a suitable container, preferably a large pot.
Clean the lemon well and cut it into slices.
Squeeze the juice of the second lemon.
You press the flowers on top with a plate or a smaller lid.

Stir the syrup with a wooden whisk until the sugar melts.
You fill the bottles and close the syrup.

How to make homemade wine from rose hips?
For the preparation of rose wine, well-ripened fruits with a dark red color are suitable.
First, carefully clean the fruit, discarding the rotten and moldy ones. Even one bad one can spoil the whole lot of wine.
Ingredients needed: One kilogram of fresh rose hips. 100 grams of raisins. Four liters of water. One kilogram of sugar. one teaspoon of citric acid.
Method of preparation: The rose hips are cleaned well, crushed and placed in a container of mineral water or another container suitable for the purpose. Raisins are added to them. A syrup is made from water and sugar. After boiling for five minutes, add the citric acid. The syrup is left to cool and when it is slightly warm, it is added to the rose hips. Rosehip wine is kept at room temperature for ten days. It is periodically shaken. The rose wine is then filtered and bottled. Note that this drink does not last long, it should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed in short periods!
Homemade elderberry syrup.
The medicinal properties of the black elder plant are well known and used for centuries in Bulgarian folk medicine. It is one of the most powerful immunostimulators and has strong antioxidant properties, which is why it is preferred for many diseases. This berry works effectively against diabetes, metabolic problems and regulates blood pressure. Elderberry juice is among the most effective ways to treat respiratory problems and sore throats, as it reduces inflammation.
How to prepare homemade elderberry syrup according to Petar Dimkov's recipe.
To prepare the syrup, it is necessary to separate only well-ripened berries from the bunch of fruit. If there are green berries, remove them because they are toxic. You wash them well under running water and let them drain. It is best that they are dry, as well as the jars that we will fill. About a kilogram and a half of ripe black elderberries and the same amount of sugar are needed to fill a three-liter jar. In clean and dry jars, arrange a layer of elderberries about two centimeters thick and alternate with sugar. Sprinkle the sugar on top, the layer of which is about 10 centimeters. Cover the jars with gauze and tie well. It is stored in a cool and dark place, and after 20 days we stir the syrup with a wooden spoon. Before that, the ingredients are not mixed! You pour it into bottles and store it in the refrigerator. You can transfer it to smaller bottles and freeze in the chamber. You can make jam from the remaining fruit after straining the syrup. The standard dose is one-half to one teaspoon for children and one-half to one tablespoon for adults. If you are fighting a cold or flu, you should take the usual dose every three hours instead of once a day until the symptoms are gone.
