Pretty badass tool you have made. Here's an idea to stop weeds from growing, after trimming just cover the soil with layers of cardboard and add mulch on top of cardboard. The mulch can be woodchips, straw, leafs, pine needles. About 5-10 cm should be enough. The mulch and the cardboard will break down overtime. It will give an natural forest floor look while benefiting the soil and not letting weeds to grow. It will also prevent the soil from drying out or the water to evaporate.

Dangerous, but brilliant idea. I can imagine a little rock flying towards window or your cars windshield, or in worst case scenario hitting another person. Thats the risk involved in using this. But the idea itself is amazing. I have a trimmer. I think carburator need cleaning, because it chokes, and i have to play with the choker allot to find the right spot for the engine to run. I will have a week full of work making all kind of crazy tools for it when i get it to run again.

I don't understand why so many people don't like it. Ok, sure!, it isn't store bought but I thought that was the idea in behind making things yourself. You get to make it the way you want it to be. So what if it isn't "everyone's cup of tea", you made it, you like it, and it does what you intended it to do. I think it's a great idea!!! Young man, you go ahead and build whatever suits your fancy. Those of us out here that understand will keep watching.
