@@roham6132 Native English speakers on the internet don’t care about grammar or spelling all that much. We usually know exactly what the other person is saying. It does get a little annoying if you’re interested in English/writing though.

​@roham Try using the Shwah properly. Native speakers tend to be better at speaking the language, whereas those who learn as a second language tend to be better at writing it. The latter due to a focus on learning the grammar and syntax.

they're in vanilla hoi4 as well, and prior to no step back it properly existed. just being replaced with el generic tanks with nsb due to the system (iirc the model is still available for selection for nzl tho)

I would still take homemade tanks over no tanks if someone tries to conquer me.

Hearing tank made from a tractor reminds me of the one guy, who went on a rampage. It also reminds me somewhat of the Swedish EPA Traktor, that was made out of Volvo Duett’s because of the World Wars going on.

Honestly, I think Bob Semple himself deserves a short at least. Seriously, he was one hell of a guy.

True : when they capture one of those turtles tanks they could pull the shell off and slap it onto a tractor, like capturing two tanks for the effort of one

Another tank New Zealand made but much lesser known was the Schofield tank. In comparison to the Bob Semple, it was a bit better with an actual cannon but the thing was a bit weird with it's wheel cum track combination, which allowed it to run either on tracks or on wheels. It was too complicated to use and only one prototype was made!

When you really look into it the bob sample tank was and great design it was made to repelle Japanese landing forces and due to things going on around the world had to be made locally

People may joke about it, but: 1)New Zealand wasn't the first country that came up with killdozer. There were interwar projects to weaponize tractors and bulldozers to sell to smaller nations and heck, half the WWI armored cars and tanks were weaponized civilian vehicles. Against light amphibious tanks of japanese the version with 37mm would have done great. 2)we're really memeing on Bob Semple despite the fact that significant portion of combat vehicles used to great effect in combat over last 50 years were Toyota Hilux trucks? Really?

Just wanna mention this The picture you showed was a fan made model for War Thunder. Although it was armed with a 37mm. Since it was ordered but cancelled since they feared the Japansse were going to invade within I believe a couple days. So by the time the 37mm would come may have been too late.

I know there were events in that history era of descendants of kings fighting over de succession, and toppling their relatives to put themselves on the throne, but something like a general (or smth like that) taking (or trying to take) the power of a territory, or establish any ideology different to monarchism or feudalism? I think it would be really hard, because of how influential were the clergy and the nobles, that they would be really pissed if something like that happened, but I think is quite interesting.

I heard it was the Indians, who also invented the numerals we use today. They were transmitted to the west through Arab merchants, as they adopted it earlier due to proximity. Hence why we call them Arab numbers. History Matters made a pretty nice little video on the topic.
