Homemade Frozen Lemonade | Only 3 Ingredients!

This Easy Homemade Frozen Lemonade is made with fresh-squeezed lemon juice, zest, ice, and a bit of honey, sugar, or stevia. Quickly blend together this healthy summer drink to enjoy poolside, at a picnic, or as a fun treat for the kids.

INGREDIENTS:
½ cup lemon juice about 4 lemons, freshly squeezed
1 Tbsp. lemon zest
⅓ cup honey agave nectar, or stevia*
3 ½ - 4 cups ice
½ cup water
INSTRUCTIONS:
Zest two of the lemons before juicing to get 1 tablespoon of lemon zest.
Add lemon juice, zest, honey, 3 1/2 cups of ice, and 1/2 cup of water to a high-speed blender, such as a Vitamix.
Blend ingredients on medium for 1-2 minutes, or until completely smooth.
Add more ice if you would like it thicker or additional water if you would like it smoother.
Serve frozen lemonade in a mason jar with a straw and a lemon slice. Enjoy!
RECIPE NOTES:
Use 1-2 teaspoons of stevia liquid extract in place of the honey for a low-carb frozen lemonade with 3 carbs/serving and only 8 calories.
Substitute agave nectar or pure maple syrup for the honey if you are vegan.
Feel free to switch out the lemons for limes to make frozen limeade.

This recipe is amazing. Listen close. I put 3/4 of sugar because I misunderstood the steps. Put 1/3. You WILL regret putting 3/4. My mouth hurt so bad after drinking that with that much sugar..

Hey London - I came upon this video when I want a lemonade drink (WHICH IS RIGHT NOW) in 90 degree heat. You are so FULL of energy - love your vid... now time to make it. I've once come upon a delicious lemonade at a restaurant - and they used not only lemons, but 7-up + sugar + lemons + ice. That was really really good!

Yes, you absolutely can, but it won't have quite the same flavor as it will with it!
Freeze your lemons and then you don't need ice. You're welcome.
