Thanks so much for this. It really helped me understand what my dr. told me about my range of motion. He talked about wanting stability. I now understand that he falls in the stability camp with my surgery outcome.
You are always helping God bless you. Toney

WOW Tony a must try I share what you teach to my therapist and a some are amazed others just shurg at it, that's ok I do your therapy at ther facility :)
With each new video i learn something new, something i didn't know previously. This time it's your mention of tourniquet. I couldn't hear anything you said after that word. I'm beginning to wonder what i'm getting myself into & whether this surgery is really for me.
Here is an Amazon Affiliate link to the exact band I use in this video. Theraband: amzn.to/2RayJfN
Great ideas.😅
I found the wrapping around the thigh really uncomfortable, but looping the Theraband around my foot as you show and pulling and straightening my knee to flex, feels better. Thanks for your videos. They are so helpful...7 weeks post op and a bit behind where I should be.

After 7 years of total knee replacement surgery , now my speed of walk has reduced and my knees pain after 200 steps only. What exercises do you recommend and what else I can do to overcome this. Thank you.
I will try it. Four months after tibial implant, stuck on 85-88 degrees for last six weeks

Hi again, that stinks. Sorry to here that.
I have a ball that's a little bigger than that one and I use it for leg elevation. Works great!

I’m into my 4th week out from my TNR. My physical therapist says that I should be at 120°. But each time i go and they work on me it hurts. They say that it supposed to hurt. I know that it’s wrong to talk about other therapist but do you have any advice for me.
Good Morning. I’m 55 and I had a knee replacement. I’m between 100-110 measured with help from p.t. I can’t reach 100 because of the pain in my knee. Which prevents me to push into the pain. How can I reach over 100 without focusing on the pain.
Very useful and motivating video.

Hey Tony. It’s been just over 9 weeks since my total knee replacement. One of my Major problems is if o have been sitting for say more than 1 hour or in the car for 1 hour. When I get up and try to straighten my leg, it’s difficult and takes a minute or so. Is this normal ?

100% normal. Activity can be tough, but inactivity is far tougher. Do your best to start moving before you know you will need to move. If I was in the car for an hour, then after 45 minutes I would start moving my legs around to start warming them up. But YES TOTALLY NORMAL.
Hi, I am 6 wks post- TKR. Almost at 0 degrees straightening and 95 - 97 flexion. I still have swelling and stiffness, the therapist says it's ok but I am worried that this stiffness and swelling will not go away.

Do not worry about swelling at 6 weeks. Some people have swelling that lasts for a year before it goes away.
