    Great recipe! I’m looking forward to making it, as it’s expensive when bought as a whole product. In reading the reviews for Anthony’s Ceylon Cinnamon….BUYER BEWARE it is being touted as false advertising….“not ceylon but cassia.” In my experience Frontier sells Ceylon which in color & taste is VERY different to Cassia (think “Saigon Cinnamon”), hence VERY different to Anthony’s Ceylon.

    Here I go, drinking my first cup right now. I typically drink 6-8 cups of coffee each day. I’ve been on Keto/Carnivore lifestyle for a year now. I lost 85 pounds and feel amazing. I’ll check back after a few days and try and document any changes I feel for a testimonial for you all.

    I’ve never had the Mud Water, but this sounds like a great recipe for adding medicinal mushroom supplements to your daily routine. I’ve got most of the ingredients already so I’m going to try it out!

    I love this, thank you. I love tumeric so I ad a little more to the reciepe. My sweetner of choice (which i never put into coffe, but i need with the mud water) is a teaspoon of real maple syrup. I aslo use a tablspoon of heavy cream. When mixing the ingredints, I use my Vitamix to blend. This really processes the powders together and make it easier to blend in the hot water. Doing it this way I find that I do not need to use the frother and there is less debri at the bottom of my cup. I do use a wooden stir stick while drinking though.

    After experimenting with my can of MUD WTR and homemade batches (testing them side by side each time) your recipe is the closest to their recipe. I used more chai for a bit more spice and landed on 1 ¼ cup Cacao * I used my coffee bean grinder to grind the cinnamon and chai to a finer ground. Update: the creator's recipe is the best there is out there. In my first recipe the chai was much more pronounced at 1oz and 4 scoops of the mushroom extract made it too thick, almost like a weird spicy hot chocolate. Like when you make it from scratch with real chocolate but use too much chocolate 😂

    There are a few other videos of DIY MUD WTR videos, is this one closer than the other ones? I've watched a few videos so I'm trying to decide who's recipe I should go with.

    May i ask how much to purchase all of the items to make your version of mud/wtr?? I am very interested in making my own but would love to know how much of an investment is needed. Thank you

    That depends on where you purchase from and in what sizes. If you were to buy all of the items I’ve linked in the description from Amazon it would be around $100 I think, but you’ll get MONTHS worth of MudWtr. I get most of my ingredients at Costco so it’s cheaper. You could also buy smaller versions of items like sea salt and turmeric at the grocery store if you want to spend less upfront. The Blue Lotus Chai is the smallest product and you could make this recipe 4 times with it, while items like cinnamon and turmeric will last much longer. Sorry I can’t be more specific but it really all depends on what brands and sizes you buy. The Amazon links are in the description if you want to look at those prices to get an idea.

    I add collagen and vegan protein powder for a bigger kick i love and I use my own mct oil .. This makes it taste more like Dose then mud/ wtr which i prefer definitelyless tumeric. I will also add organic coffee with Mushroom blend for a real kick.

    Funny, I do a lot of the same. I usually add chocolate or plain collagen and often ad a bit of Ryze mushroom coffee or just some black decaf to give it a different flavor.

    Love your recipe and wanted to share a few things I experienced. Followed your recipe to the tee except the liquid oat milk. I add the vital collagen and powdered organic oat milk by jol organic oat powderwith 1 cup hot water. Anyway, :before I got on subscribe and save on Amazon (they send you monthly what you need) I ran out of the oat powder, so I bought the liquid oat milk in town .what a difference - didn’t care for it at all - like a different drink. Now I get why you suggested honey and other things etc. Try the powder- huge difference. The other thing I noticed, you and others said there would be powder on the bottom of the cup, so I always had a spoon handy when drinking my mud - never needed it , till the first time I used the liquid oat milk- so use a powder ( you know what I use and it worked , I’m not trying to tell you which powder to use)One more tidbit: read that when on collagen you should double the amount the first month and let it kick in, then go back to regular amount each day. I should have prefaced that with I’m not a Doctor and maybe I shouldn’t have repeated that but the article wasn’t by a CO. that makes it ( I think) so I’m putting a little credence in this info. I’ll let you know if my joints stop killing me and don’t need to spend money on surgery. Hope you try the powder and thanks again for your recipe- it’s the best one and one this old peasant can afford. Thanks again.

    I have a question about the amount of Blue Lotus Chai that you use in your recipe. You state that your recipe is based on making 100 cups of coffee. The jar you are holding in the video says there are 65 servings in the container. The other kinds of Chai say 100 servings. Since the recipe you gave was based on 100 servings does the amount of the other ingredients need to change to lower numbers because of the 65 cups stated on the jar. Thank you.

    Usually if I make the full recipe I use two containers to hold it because I have a few from MudWtr. So you can reduce the whole thing to 65 servings or just put the extra into a Tupperware or mason jar

    I’ve actually not ever noticed a huge difference. But I drink it for taste and as a coffee alternative and all of the healthy ingredients are just a bonus. However, I had already been using mushrooms and turmeric as supplements and RYZE coffee prior to this, so I think that’s why I didn’t notice anything new. With RYZE I did notice a subtle change in focus, energy and stomach issues. Many foods/herbs may not always make you feel drastically different but that doesn’t mean they’re not benefiting you.

    When you add up the cost of all the ingredients listed it comes out to $98. Thats way more than if you just bought mud water outright. You said that the ingredients listed only makes one container of mud water which goes for about $50. Looks like you made this video about 2 years ago before the massive inflation so i understand.

  • @RenewalFitCoach

    @RenewalFitCoach

    5 ай бұрын

    It was before inflation and it depends on what brands you buy. Did I say one container? It’s been a while, hard to remember. Usually this recipe makes about 1.5 for me, but it doesn’t use up all the ingredients. I always have leftovers of almost everything that I can use for a second or even 3rd batch.
