A little grape or green apple kool-aid helps with regular corn. Same thing as that wild berry or apple scented corn they want 3 dollars more a bag for

I do something very similar , with the addition of Purina Sweet tina ( it’s oats and molasses / horse feed , purchased from your local co-op ) I mix that with corn , more molasses , salt / mineral block mashed up into finer pieces, then I add apple mash that I get from the local cider mill . The deer cannot resist it !

I basically do the same thing with horse feed. Get the horsefeed with the highest molasses content. Mix a little bit in with the corn. Only problem is every critter in the wood loves it too. Sometimes it will clog up the feeders.

yep. in Louisiana, raccoons gonna eat that stuff up, and wasted money if the hogs find it.

I beg to differ. Yes deer love corn...but they NEED salt and actively look for salt. When they find it in tastee mixes it brings them.back stronger than corn alone.

For 100% PROOF they like it better than plain corn.. you should do a video of 2 piles side by side to see if your pissing away time and money!!!!🤣!! I’d say the raccoons are getting Waaaayyyyyy more benefit than ANY deer!!!! ☝️🤣🤣

In Ga. Apple flavor corn has worked well in our 23-24 hunting season

Here in Ontario the deer seem to like plain corn more than mollases or sweet corn

Just get you a bag of sweet feed for horses

I just simply have a corn feeder out and keep a salt block and mineral licks there beside the feeder. All this right beside a spring fed creek. Constantly brings the deer in. No need in making a mess like this in a bucket but to each their own.

I just read a book the Iowa DNR put out. It said that doing this and using blocks is the fastest way 2 spread CWD. They want us 2 put pallets and a fence anywhere we did this or anything like it. If a deer with CWD eats there and pees or anything else your going 2 have allot of sick deer. But on the other hand the states just north of me has deer yards where the DNR feeds them

I agree, between that and cameras the actual sport of it isn't really hunting. Some people may say it is progress. Those same people will one day be hunting from their living room in the city with a drone and hire someone to go pick up their deer for them. I call it lazy and cheeting. They will be the ones missing out on the real experience. It seems a lot to me, like shooting a cow coming to feed at a trough.

The experience is sitting with my buddy and feeding my family. You do it legally where you are, I'll do it legally where I am👍🏼Happy hunting! Some people think baiting is cheating, and that's ok. Ignorant, but OK! Those same people put bait on hooks to catch fish. It's all OK!!! Some people think crossbows are cheating. I have shaky hands, I can't use a traditional compound bow. Each hunter is different from the next. Do it how you enjoy it and light it up without commenting on how somebody else does it. If it's legal, move on. When it's illegal, speak up👍🏼

The price of beef I'm tempted. I just don't know how I'd load it fast and if I drag it they will fallow the drag marks. My buddy has a wrecker LOL. All jokes aside a guy in Osterdock Iowa did do it. He got caught because the boom he built on his beater truck broke. He should have quartered it up instead of letting it go to waist because he did pay for it and abunch of fines and lost his hunting writes for 5 years

Whatever you put out for deer to feed on is eventually entering your body. I still can’t understand how people get so focused on baiting as a shortcut. Why can’t you just learn the skills required to hunt your prey and utilize complete fair chase. This is the same concept as mixing pork fat with venison - you are ruining the meat and defeating the whole purpose of naturally acquiring your meat.
