Thank you for this!! I'm glad I didn't have to cook it in the microwave. I don't usually do stuff like this for artworks, I stick to high quality supplies that I buy, but I needed something similar to resin clay so I could clean my hands lol! So much dust gets into clay so it's always best to have scrap piece of clay to rub your hands with and desk etc. I followed recipe exact and added more tacky glue, mineral oil and a good amount of glycerin after it formed into a dough. It's actually VERY nice soft clay! I made some test pieces out of curiosity but I don't think I can sell anything made from this. I'm using Modena as my main clay. I'm also happy you didn't use nivea cream. I think that probably ruins the clay and makes it brittle, and it's never a good idea to use lotions and hairsprays in art, I don't think many people understand the chemistry, it's best to stick to pure ingredients. But this would be amazing for people who can't afford expensive resin clay, and children activity time! I can't really afford resin clay either but I still buy it and that's why I do not want to waste a small piece to clean my hands, so that's why I did this instead.
