Homemade Chocolate Pudding with a few simple ingredients and a stove top.
With this basic chocolate pudding recipe, you can make a variety of desserts, cake fillings or just eat it plain. It only takes about 10 minutes to make and I like knowing the exact ingredients I'm putting in my desserts. It is a simple stove-top recipe that everyone will enjoy.

Recipe
4 cups milk
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 egg
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix all the ingredients in a pan on the stove on medium heat. Once it starts to thicken, stir continuously until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Let cool and enjoy!

Yum! Good, cold chocolate pudding is the best! I remember a brand that used to come in little cans when i was a kid! My dad would get it at a wholesaler's place on the way home some nights. Good memories!
