Brendon whatley problem is there are a lot of people including myself who are in extremely tough situations who do couch surf out of nessesity so I think he trivialized that plight The fear of being a good friend away from a shelter or under a bridge is consuming and "couch surfing" can be part of a very serious extreme situation

yeah, the word for his situation is houseless....not homeless. dude is preying on the actual hardships of those who have nowhere else to turn to. I've been houseless.....lived in a tent in the woods of Oregon. while working 2 jobs....slept in my car, on couches, had to sneak into my dad's backyard to sleep safely under a tree, but never had to sleep on the streets. I did this all while holding down jobs. dude needs to stop and get a job use his friends as a source of address and give up his KZread dream.

I was once homeless when I ran away from home (rough home life). The streets were not easy, especially the amount of pride & narcissism people had in the streets. Getting told to "get a job", people have told me to fuck off if I asked for anything (not just money), I was grateful when somebody gave me a 25 cent candy & it helped me a lot to get through my day. The homeless life is not a "trend" nor something to get "views" for. It disgusts me the fact that Fousey is doing this. The least he could do is own up to his faults & be humble. Sure, it would be awesome to have a donation for charity! Many people would appreciate that very much:)please just try some other challenge, there's way better things to do to get views. this is just plain wrong:/

The problem with the pictures being leaked wasn't the severety of the pictures, but the fact that they were shared with american authorities in with the expectation of being kept secret. When the same authorities then turn around and share this confidential material with the press it puts a strain on the relationship between US and foreign authorities, making future coopertation just a little bit harder.

He should donate all his money to REAL homeless people, I'm sick and tired of him coming up with a bullshit scenario every 2 weeks

This kinda irritates me because I used to be homeless, and he's misrepresenting what it truly means to be actually HOMELESS. I do think that his heart is probably in a good place, but you don't need to be homeless to start to get to know people. Because no matter what way you look at it Yousef, you are NOT HOMELESS. You are just choosing not to have access to money, choosing not to wear all your clothes. And that to come off to some people that being homeless can be a choice, and in some cases (like mine) being homeless is not a choice. Be careful of what you do, and be careful what you can say. Cause things like that, can cause a negative reaction.

What really ticked me off about that FouseyTube clip is that he said "I will have to ask other youtubers if I can sleep at their homes. KZreadrs I barely know" and all I can think of is that if you are going to do this kind of thing, then do it right. Homeless people do not have contacts the way you do, Fousey, and you being able to contact those people for this experiment is not fair. If you want to experience what it is like to be homeless, then put yourself in a situation a homeless person would be in and cut the contacts

I don't understand how Fousey can continue to do such shitty things without even realizing it. You're not homeless if you still end up sleeping in a home most nights. Seriously, it's like he's urban camping. If he's really doing this because he's unhappy with his life I can respect this decision. But the things he's done in the past don't make it easy to believe him.

anthony Reyes Giving money to people doesn't automatically wash away all your sins, or at least I don't believe it should. And pretending that someone in his position could ever actually experience the same kind of hardship that a homeless person experiences on a day to day basis is a pretty big sin in my opinion. If for once in his life Fousey apologized for doing something this stupid I might actually respect him for a change, I think we can all relate to his desire to get out there and explore the world and I even think this whole adventure would be pretty interesting if he hadn't phrased it like a homelessness amusement park ride. I mean he's practically dedicated himself to a shitty publicity stunt.

My only issue is the way he phrased it... made it sound like he didn't quite understand how different their world is from his. Like i said, if he'd apologize for things like this I might actually respect him. But most of the time it seems like he doesn't truly believe he's done anything wrong.

That's not homelessness it's networking and attention seeking. When I started watching fouseys "homeless" series, I was interested in the fact that he was doing something different for once. But it's now turning into a bigger profit for him. Homeless people don't start out with 100 dollars and a phone with a charger and access to people. He's only getting helped because the people see the camera and act different. He's abusing the point and needs to just quit the act and produce content that's actually believable.

It would be helpful to write the title of the story on each slide that has a comment 🌸

I've been a "homeless" (traveling) KZreadr for a while - sleeping at friend's/couchsurfer's/stranger's place for 80 days during my massive Eurotrip. Fousey is a known persona - asking other KZreadrs for a stay, its a collab in a return. Far from a homeless guy.

I don't think anybody is trying to argue that they are all "okay". I think everyone can agree that none of them are "okay". That being said, when you use the n-word it carries far, far more weight than any other racial slur. No other racial slur in American history has even CLOSE to the history that the n word has. The entire race was enslaved, murdered, beaten, and degraded for a large part of this nation's history while that word was used to dehumanize them. You cannot compare it to any other slur. So yes, I can tell you that the other slurs aren't AS bad as that one.

Lol at the "Ladies' Night" comment. Does she actually know what that is? Ladies' Night is traditionally a deal that a bar or restaurant runs where women can drink free or discounted, thus encouraging more women to show up. THUS encouraging more MEN to show up! It's not a night where only women are allowed inside. If anything, it's the inverse. They know men come to bars to find women, and women typically stay away from bars since they don't want to be hit on all night by men. These establishments figure the enticement of free products will help lure them out enough women and therefore men and increase business all around. It's a sales tactic and has nothing to do with including or excluding another gender. The movie theater's Wonder Woman screening is in no way similar.

Red XIII Slavs became slaves around the beggining of the 9th century when the Holy Roman Empire tries to stabilize a german slav frontier. But what suprises me is that whenever people see the Muslims do something bad in medeval times they ultimately assume that all muslims have the same mindset and that everything bad that a Muslim does is associated with his pr her religon. Thats like me saying "Christians had slaves in the 19th century...all Christians must hate black people and hating black people must be part of their religon." Not all muslims want to kill you and just because you found slavery in islamic history doesnt mean that you can hold all Muslims accountable for it today. Doesn't mean that all muslims in todays modren world approve of it either.

And I will probably be subscribed to you as long as you are here on KZread and I will follow you wherever you end up because you have this amazing ability to present a story as fact, state your opinion at the end, and then still learn from your followers and yourself. We don't always agree but what keeps me coming back is the fact that you are one of the few youtubers like this who is genuinely willing to have a conversation about things instead of just yelling your opinion and saying fuck everyone else. I've been working with the vulnerable population for 15 years and have seen what people go through to keep what they have. A rich youtuber putting his money on the shelf he can't reach for a while is missing the point, or at least it feels like he's missing a point somewhere, of "homelessness," since he's not gonna try and deal with shelters or what have you unless no one that's a YTr puts him up for an extended duration. Regarding the removal of statues: I am in Netherlands (Maastricht), and we have a statue of a foreign conqueror. We even welcome a group that celebrates our conqueror every year. I think people need to calm down about wanting to be offended by things.

Philip, I literally watch your shows daily. Without missing a beat. I absolutely HATED Fousey, I think you should actually take a second and check out what he's up to, you're the one always above the drama in the KZread community. I understand the temple reference but meet up for coffee, even if it's done off camera.

This is going to shock some people, but up here in the north we learned about the Civil War and all of the important participants WITHOUT having statues towering over our cities. Museums are great places for these statues to end up.

Fousey is homeless at least in the sense that he doesn't have a home here on KZread.

About that Islam comment, even if you took away the extremists from the religion it's still pretty awful, stoning, homophobia, transphobia, no booze, no bacon, oppressive and disrespectful to women, I could go on. It can't be a coincidence that every muslim majority country is a hell hole.

I heard in many zoo's they feed lions minced meat because people might not like bones in the lions cage, because they're too cute for that? I don't know, but with a lot of media representation of animals people might think they're not *that* dangerous.

I'm an undergrad in Trinity College Dublin and I've never heard this about George Salmon. We have a theatre named after him as well. Love the graduation photos with him and I'll definitely be doing that when I eventually graduate!!

As someone who is actually homeless I find this very upsetting. I have been living in my car for three weeks without any where to go or a penny to my name. Being homeless is a feeling you can never understand unless it genuinely happens. Because the feeling of being scared and terrified that you have literally no where to go and no options left is something that can never be recreated. I'm so scared because I have no options I have no family that is there for me I have nothing. And this guy just wants to see if he can survive it.

I can see fousey playing the part of a homeless man in those "social experiment" videos now 😂

Everybody spam Fousey's twitter account asking him to go out and help/get to know REAL homeless people rather than doing this dumb shit. And don't format it like a joke, make it a legitimate request.
