His daughter isn't heartless, she had tears in her eyes seeing her father. She even handed him the money. That long hug meant so much. And just looking at her, you can see that she's struggling too. We only know 1% of the story. Stop judging guys.

You can just feel the amount of personal guilt he was harbouring on himself for not being able to show support for his daughter. This meant the world to him.

The look on the fathers face when he was able to hand her the flowers and cake and presents......this is something he’ll never forget and cherish forever. Thank you for making that happen Bi...God please watch over this family and may you lead them in the right path where they can be together again in a better situation..

I cried when the father cried, reminded me when I was in iraq, I was 7 years old sometimes went to bed hungry didn't have food, but thank God and Jesus now in usa my life turned around, help people when you can and you will have a special place in heaven.

under he right circumstances you could. If your parent gets violent when they are drunk or on drugs, or they steal things in your house and sell them. I have seen parents having to 'give up' on their kids. If you've been ting trying to help them for years and there are other people in the house you have to protect, this can happen.

Even if we have alcoholic, abusive parents we fight with them ,we try to give right treatment for their addiction, we do borrow money for their any or any health treatments. I have seen 8 to 9 family members living in one small room with their parents. For us parents give us birth ,it is that loan which cannot be repaid by any expensive things but it is definitely in our hands to give them whatever we can to respect ,love,care,protect them . We in india have worst cases that you can ever imagine. But you will never ever see mom or dad on street if their kids are alive.

@@adampower9757 a lot of the times, addicts don't want real help. They just want you to help their addiction (fund it) so he may choose to stay out there because he's not ready to live by her or others rules within their home or within their lives so seems as if she accepts him as is.

I see a lot of people ask why she left and that she seems to be doing well, questioning why she isn't helping her father. She is probably earning $150 to $300 a month. A small apartment might cost $120. Looking after yourself in South Africa with $300 a month is already very difficult. She had a quick break from her work to come see her father. She also said she will see him after work. It's hard to see beautiful people struggling like this. People don't realize how difficult it is to find a job in South Africa. Unemployment is currently 30.1% which is basically people who are actively searching for jobs. Taking into account people who gave up on looking for a job then the unemployment rate is about 40%. Analysts, economists and even the South African Reserve Bank predicts that the unemployment rate can climb as high as 50% post covid19. Keep up the good work BI Phakathi.

To me they will always be my babies and they know the sacrifices I made for our family. And regardless, whatever the dad did. You don’t leave him on the streets like that. South Africa is already dangerous, sleeping on the streets is a plea to die. You need to never lose hope in your parents and make sure they get help. If they have addiction take them to rehab. Make sure you remove alcohol and set boundaries and limits. Take them to doctor. Take them to therapy. There’s plenty of solutions. But American people are lazy so they don’t feel like putting their parents to live with them if they are homeless

However not knowing them and their situation we cannot judge and apply our own values to them so blindsighntedly, we must be open minded as to why she is being so cold, and hope that she is healing and will change her values. If you think about it, much of the ills in this world could be avoided if us humans were not always being indifferent and frankly deplorable. I may be wrong here, but I think we'd achieve world peace if there were no competing countries dividing us up. Anyway, much peace to you and everyone else here!

Yeah but most people simply don’t care and very rarely donate money. Millions can have a $10 Netflix subscription but can’t donate $10 a month to a charity.

I know someone who's father is homeless, but for some reason he refuses any of the help that he offers. Sometimes they choose this life.

I can't believe there are people in this world who don't take care of your children/parents. For me a family is always together. Sitting together for meals on the dining table, going out. Everyone together. Parents, children, children and their spouses, grand children. Etc.

This shows how a father giving all for his daughter,a father loves is eternity and divine❤️❤️❤️

Wow that's touching.i have 3 kids 1 of them a girl and she is my world, I couldn't imagine being in that position where I couldn't do anything for my daughter's birthday,you honestly did make that man feel like a father again,that was so kind of you, the world would be a much better place if we could just come together and help each other out when many are in need in so many different ways...God bless you kind sir..

When his daughter was hugging her homeless father I cried like a baby . She loves her father so much that she just threw herself in his arms and just gave him a very long hug. This was an amazing video.

Suppose he did something terribly wrong and he end up in the street,,,, does that mean she has to left him in the street? My dad does nothing for us at all, he always played gambling and messed up his life and ours too,,,, but my elder sister took our responsibility, she was the only working person of our family, she educated us and took good care of our parents. Even though we lived in poverty but we didn't left our dad in trouble and sorrow. I have too many complain about him but after all he is my DAD. IN OUR CULTURE OUR FAMILY IS BEFORE EVERYTHING. Shame on you people, you peoples are too much selfish.

My dad was homeless and my mom fell in love with him at 7-11 because she worked there and he’d always come in and move the tea iron around to mess with her and now they are married and got 4 children lol. Just because you’re homeless or was put in a situation doesn’t make you a bad person. Just need a little help and I know that. 👌 a lot of people who come from absolutely nothing are better

watching him cry made me cry, my daughter just turned 2 and I am having such a hard time making an income and becoming successful. sometimes I think I might end up on the streets. seeing him cry and fill with love really hit hard for me.

Don't lose hope every one of us suffered of difficulty coz of this pandemic but if there's a problem there's a solution just ask and pray to God and he will answer all those your prayers I'm in that situation within 3 months I cry for my bills and think too much if where I get money to pay it I got stress too to it but one day the God send me of an angel that who helped me to get out to that situation so be brave and be strong 💪...

Good and bad we never give up on our parents. It breaks my heart to see the fact his daughter is living like a Queen but her Daddy is struggling to survive and living like a bum. She has a BF? Okay great. Tell him let’s get him settled in first, and help him find a place. You don’t leave your parents like that. Pathetic and sad

Do you ever notice that the homeless people are lovely, humble people? They just seem broken and obviously have suffered severe trauma in their lives. God bless this man, BI, for reaching out a hand to acknowledge that they are human beings who deserve dignity and respect. The money, although important, I think is secondary to the kindness he shows them. God bless you, BI.

Tbh we don’t know what the situation is with her and her father.. I can see that they both obviously love each other very much.. But why is he homeless? Maybe she offered for him to stay with her and he didn’t want to burden her.. Maybe he is a drug addict and stole from her before or maybe he’s an alcoholic and she offered for him to stay with her but only if he stops drinking and he’d rather be homeless and drink or maybe she is on hard times as well and is living with someone Herself and can’t have her father live where she is living.. We don’t know the story behind what the cause is for him to be homeless and her not inviting him over for her birthday but what I do know is that her father knew it was her birthday and had an opportunity to make a beautiful memory (that will last a lifetime) with her on her special day and I seen how happy she was with the simple cake and flowers.. To her it was most likely the thought behind it that counted the most to her.. And the man handed her money “for her birthday” and she accepted it.. She probably isn’t in the best situation herself honestly.. I love the man behind the camera.. He is such a selfless human being and if there were more people in the work like him our world would be a much different and better place.. Bless the man behind the camera and all the people who’s lives he touched with a simple act of kindness and treating people the way they deserve to be treated regardless of their situations and afflictions.. Like human beings 🥰🙏🏻🥳😇
