"The reason most of us aren't happy is because we obsess over all the things that we don't have that we forget to appreciate the things that we do have." Very true! We should always be grateful for all the things we do have no matter how big or small. For example, whether someone is living in a house/apartment or vehicle, it's always nice to have a roof over your head. Remember this lesson!

Man oh man, these are the types of videos people of the newer generation need. I’m not trying to be mean or rude or anything like that, but I’m just saying that as time progresses, the basic things that should be valued tend to become overlooked and we don’t even consider their impact on it daily lives. Family is definitely one of the things that fall into this category for sure❤️

This story really humbled me. I found another quote, "it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich". I'm 16 and I don't have my own phone yet but I do have a Samsung S6 lite. I used to always get mad for not having my own phone when everyone in my grade does but now I realize there are people my age and older who never even had a device to access everything thing I get to. So thanks!

I would like to see when someone kindhearted comes and helps the poor people in this video (Amani and Jordan living in house without power, Janice and Griff living in car without gas to move around, homeless man living in streets). It's sad seeing life of homeless and poor people struggling to survive and being grateful as much as possible. I would also like to see when Mrs. Adams learns how to be grateful about everything she has.

"If I had one, I'd be happy." Sad we put so much value on physical things. This is so true about most of society today. It's not the things or stuff that brings happiness. It's the connection of healthy, positive relationships with friends, family, animals, and others in general that make life satisfying. Unfortunately, too many don't remember this until something tragic happens.

I will say, there is a difference between always wanting what someone else has and feeling upset because you are struggling. Sure we can always be grateful for the things we have, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be upset because you lost your apartment or your car AC went out. The “well at least it’s not the worst it can get” mentality really never helped me when I was struggling and tbh kinda would jinx my life lol. Just throwing this out there for anyone who has heard the toxic dismissive “someone has it worse than you so stop feeling bad” line one too many times 👍

Gradiitude for what you have now, and desire to improve your own situation are always a good thing. Wanting what someone else has more then you, more expensive, more of anything you lack, always leads to unhappiness.

Very wise and beautiful message. We all need to remind ourselves sometimes that what we have is enough. Happiness comes from within, we can't buy it. Without the feeling of gratitude your life will always be empty. I didn't always understand it, but now I thank God every single day for my loving family, home, food... I am scared when I see some people putting all their faith in fame and fortune, all those things that come and go.

Great story, be grafeful for what you have and it will offset what you don't have! I seen how people complained yet it will always someone doing less then them. Once they seen this they would be more understanding of their own situations. Who would had thought that the man with absolutely less than them all be most grateful. (homeless man)

The moral of the story is that people are never grateful for what they have rather they look onto to people who are way wealthier than them and don't realize that there are people who die for the things that they do have so plz always appreciate what you have since you don't know that there are many people out there who don't even have those luxuries that you do have.

This is a very good point!! No one is ever happy with what they have! What you have to do is not chase over life and make your happiness connected with temporary stuff! Because at the end we will all die! Leaving behind property that someone will own one day! All your taking is your good deeds! Trust me when you learn your purpose in life you would stop caring about this life and start caring for your end! That’s exactly what we Muslims are taught!

I love how in this video out of all of them, it isnt built like a drama like in the other videos. This video is more about all of us and how we all turn our heads to the person who has more than us but we don't see what we have in front of us. And the video shows how people look up to us for stuff that we have, but we dont see it because we are looking up to someone else. And something that nobody sees fr ever expects is that the people we look up to, are looking up to someone else too. This video shows a continuous circle of how we dont see our strengths and we thing of material things as our status. This is why we need to focus on ourselves and the people closest to us (family and friends) because that is how we can be successful in what we do best and find real genuine happiness that the richest of people search for.
