As a man with a 3 year old daughter, this really hit me hard

His hands were trembling while counting 1000 Rand, my my , you certainly come as an angel to them. Unfathomable love from India. Great acts of kindness.

Heartbreaking story. A tragic accident. Kids are so fast it happens so quick. He has to live with this forever. I hope he can find some peace and a way forward.

So true. They ARE quick. If not for the grace of God and his angels, same thg would have hap'nd to me... Yrs ago when my daughter was a baby (18 months) I put her down for a nap. She had been fussy all day and I desperately wntd her to sleep so I could eat /and rest. I put her down, n firmly closed her bdrm 🚪 knowing she could NOT open it bc she was so little... I rushed to finish the spaghetti I was making f/ dinner. As I lifted the heavy Iron pot full of boiling water, I hesitated to move bc I suddenly had a strong feeling my baby was behind me. I argued w/ myself thinking: " That's impossible she's sleeping, and she can't open the 🚪- stupid. Just finish this, Im tired and hungry!..." I started to turn with the heavy pot in my hands but a strong voice almost shrieked at me: "Put that pot down!! You're baby IS right behind You!! I was so scared and startled ( bc it was just me and the baby alone. My husband was at work) I rushed to put the pot down and turn, and there my baby was giggling as she snuck up and grabbed my legs!! If I had not put the heavy pot down I would have dropped it on her head!! Undoubtedly, it would have been Fatal!! To this day 20 yrs later, I dont know how she got out of that rm, she couldn't even reach the doorknob! But if that angel didn't scream in my ear, I know she wouldn't be here today, God is soooo good....

Tears rolling down my face again, this poor gentleman been like this for all that time, sometimes life is so cruel. I cried with that dear man, such a big negative load he has been carrying for so many years. I hope he can forgive himself as BI asked him to do. BI certainly did change this mans life. I’m always amazed by the fact that everyone BI helps will always say ‘God Bless you’ and still keep their faith in God, it’s wonderful to hear. When you have lost everything and have to beg for food it would be easy to loose sight of God. I cannot imagine how hard and painful it is to ask random strangers for bread. You can start small. Even a dollar goes a long way for someone who is starving. I try to do as much as I can even if I'm far from rich. So don't wait till you're rich, you end up waiting forever and then leave this earth, only wishing you could have helped.
