Dude just filming this to fill his ego, these homeless are outta control if they can manage to get gov. Assistance then they dame sure can get a job. These chicken heads are getting outta pocket. Caught 2 druggies doing sxeual acts/drug usage outside my apartment, and I'm next to the uofa and 4th. Got out the southside so I wouldn't deal with that type of siht. Y'all trippin thinking he helping them homeless, he should just give them a job application and call it a day. Not giving my hard earned money to help these type of people out.

@@goodnessinpeople I've been homeless, as a disabled veteran, for the past 30 years. MANY in America are making a good living by pretending to help the homeless. You are the first person that I have seen, that is helping the homeless. Do not count any food banks, as the homeless cannot cook a bag of rice or a can of peas. (I've had the police & fire department called too many times, for trying to do just that) You can forget homeless shelters too, as I sleep in my car, without a driver's license. I have NO hope of EVER finding a place to live, in this country I fought for. I was 9 years old when I pulled 2 sisters & mom from a fire. Each and every time that a human speaks, their thoughts are simultaneously BROADCAST in a much richer way than can be fit into words. No belief included, I simply remember before being taught verbal language. I wish that you could too. (we're spirits, with the power of miracles, but I cannot save you from yourselves)

Honestly. Even the smallest gesture of kindness could mean the world to someone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! My son was one of the “homeless in Tucson” for several years. I had called in a pizza for him to pick up, in his area. I live half way access the country, from him. When he went in to pick it up, I had to call them and describe him to them before they would give it to him. 😢 None of them choose to live this way. 💔

@@dinarusso3320 I’m glad you asked. I was hoping someone would. We begged him to come home, to get help, and let us help him. Every attempt failed and caused more pain. Unless you have, firsthand experience, it is impossible to understand the damage it causes. He knew his addiction made him a very manipulative predator of anyone,including his own family. I will always love him, but I cannot trust him, because he’s not in control anymore. 💔

I'm hoping that if Tucson has a working committee on homelessness, that YOU are invited to be on it. I do understand that some might say that feeding people for a day does not solve the problem, but would argue that showing HUMANITY on a daily basis does make a difference. And might well be the difference for those who daily suffer to hang on while they wait for cities to figure out how best to serve them for the long haul. Well done, you!

Dude the homeless near 22nd and i10 are nothing but druggies who car shop around my neighborhood to get their next fix. They are a nuisance. Stop helping these chicken heads. If they can manage to get gov.ass. and free cell phone. They can manage to get a job. But sounds like you live in a gated community.

I’ve worked with the homeless in many capacities. 99% of people that try to help them actually hurt them more. Giving them stuff does not help. In fact it makes their situation worse. It doesn’t help to just tell them to get a job. Most are incompetent to get back to society without some sort of attention from someone else. We have a 99% success rate, it costs very little, and the homeless person is responsible for completing their daily homework. It takes about two weeks, but is really affective. It does take a concerted effort. A symphony of doors to open at the right time. However, we do it all the time and is not impossible.

The socks especially and cold drinks and food are so crucial GOD bless you. If I wasn't homeless currently myself I'd donate, hopefully someday I can give the way you do to help others. We have a guy like you in NH. He doesn’t go the extra mile like you. But he might of watched your KZread to get ideas. We need more people like you sir! Thank you.

Love what you do! When you give out items to make sandwiches, have you ever considered giving out individual packets of mayo, ketchup and mustard instead of the small bottles? Once opened and exposed to that heat the mayo especially would need to be thrown away fairly soon if they don’t have a way to keep it cool. Plus the packets are a lot lighter since most of the folks are having to carry their stuff. A box of condiments is pretty reasonable at Sam’s or Costco.

The packet idea is good...I think mayo is probably the most iffy one because it has eggs, but they do sell vegan mayo (without eggs), but that can be expensive, so packets would make sense.

Michael, I know God will reward you mighty for your goodness. And to the person who wrote about not calling the cops, it is true that"sweeping the problem under the rug" doesn't work. We need more affordable housing, programs to give people job skills, etc.

It always breaks my heart seeing the homeless walking away to no where. Bless you're heart Michael for watching over them and giving them hope.

I lived in Tucson for 28 years and I watch your channel all the time. I think what you are doing is so awesome. Not only do you help the needy you do it while showing respect to these needy souls. I wish I had the means to help you . unfortunately I am not able because I am struggling to just stay afloat myself. If more people paid it forward our world would be a better place. The showing respect is really awesome. If I ever have a windfall of money I will do the same. I know what it is like to be homeless and hungry. I had the fortune of someone pulling me off the street and giving me a safe place to live and get back on my feet.i went from nothing to having the ability to rejoin society. I use to work at the food bank in Picture Rocks to pay it forward. I wish I had the means to do what you do. God bless.

This is my first video that I've seen of yours, it brought tears to my eyes and warmed my heart! Thank you for doing what you do! I know that I try to help when I can, even though I've had a few bad years with a lot of loss. It makes me feel so good to help others so I do whatever I can and I've instilled that in my son. He is a 13 yew old that would rather walk into a room and sit at a table of senior citizens than kids because he knows their value and enjoys conversation with them more as he would call them stupid entitled kids. You're an inspiration!

Human beings are not wild animals. They are not equipped to live out in the elements. I can't believe that as a society we allow people to live out in the street. Every person should have shelter, regardless of whether or not they have an addiction or a mental illness. Thank you, Michael, for helping them.

I used to have this guys spirit. Somewhere in my early twenties I became cynical although I would like to think I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I wish I could lie and say videos like this put me back to where I was. Perhaps witnessing things like this will get me back there. It does my heart good to see kindness to those society has written off. This homeless issue is very real, and this past Summer I was working two jobs and spending some days just in my car as I work overnight at one of my jobs. I live in Chandler Arizona, I know how got it is . God Bless to people like this . Nobody should go hungry. I still do follow that rule.

You really brighten the day of people you come in contacts . It may be the only joy they experience throughout the day and everyone deserves at least one moment of joy per day….keep up the good work…you inspire me to be a better person and to not be judgmental when it comes to those less fortunate than me. I also appreciate that you always have a upbeat attitude when dealing with your neighbors/friends….I’m sure you have days you’re not feeling great like anyone else, but you’re able to put it aside and always have a positive, playful attitude which probably isn’t always easy when some of the people you deal with are not always going to give you positive energy in return for obvious reasons.

My wife and I used to do this in Memphis TN. for about 3 years. The follow ups were just heartbreaking. We poured our hearts into it until we understood that these efforts were not fruitful. I love this man's heart. We simply did not have the resources to continue. If you do have the money to give and follow up, then by all means do so. What I'm trying to say is this; just randomly giving is pretty easy. Following up is very hard. Peace. I do love this man's heart.

I am not aware of that. My wife and I moved out of Memphis. It became dangerous for us to continue that style of ministry. Thank you for the info.

I comment on almost every one of his videos he's that amazing. If I could say one thing to him, Michael you're my HERO!!!! I'm pre starting my Christmas gifts for a homeless couple I know I have a small income and get food benefits but, I'm not going to let it stop me from being a decent human being. I used to be homeless and suffer from a mild mental illness so I have state help I also as I said went from being homeless to being housed and will be celebrating 11 years in my place. You not only inspire me you gave me hope.
