I saw Matilda in a video from Galgos del Sol, and they focus on rescuing this breed of dog, though all breeds have gone through their shelter. In Spain and some other countries, there are a lot of abused and abandoned hunting dogs. The laws require people to treat their dogs decently, but not for hunting dogs. They’re still considered property, and are often treated as pieces of equipment. So thank God Spain has Galgos del Sol, as well as Viktor Larkhill.
