Spoiler for those that read this and want to watch the Boys: The milk thing is because Madlyn Stilwell was basically his mother figure as he grew up in a lab as an experiment for compound V. In some episodes he is seen being breast fed by Stilwell which is pretty weird but after he hilled her, the milk was a reminder.

Ikr superman's heat vision in the dceu doesn't even look like a laser. It's slightly orange, curly, and it looks more like a focused flamethrower shot. While homelander's straight and feels more accurate and looks like an actual laser.

I presume he is not immune to gasses or lack of air, therefore he can be suffocated or poisoned, if only because he does not have Arctic Breath like Supes. I also disagree with him being called the "Injustice Superman". Supes was merciless to his enemies but not to random bystanders and he actually had a goal, i.e. peace and order. Highlander, or whatever, has no real agenda- he is pretending to be a hero due to his narcissism but other than that, he's just flying by the seat of his pants.

That's the point of his character ....he's a man child you don't really expect him to have an elaborate plan to take over the world or something... He's more of an instrument for those are smarter than him...but still I can't say I hate him because tbh I've not really seen any villian that works the way he those

You should've showed the scene where he told hughie his bpm to demonstrate his super hearing or whatever he was using and he dosen't have a healing factor aswell as not having super speed

He does have super speed. He is able to fly superfast while flying. At mach 25 stated by him. He is faster than atrain.

@@killofilms4162 watch the show. Atrain is the fastest runner alive. But homelander can fly faster. Atrain can move at mach 2 at best. And he is slowing down since he is getting older now. Shockwave would have been faster since he is younger. Homelander said himself he can move at mach 25. So homelanders mach 25 > compared to a-train's mach 1-2

@@killofilms4162 something use to measure speeed. Like for example mach 1 is 1x faster than sound. Mach 2 is 2x faster than sound mach 3 is 3 times and its goes on and on until you reach light speed. Thats why everytime atrain run you hear a boom. Hes breaking or about to break the sound barrier, well not anymore. That guy could barely run 1000mph now since the "v" weakened him.

In the episode it’s even better because the man he kills pushes a gust of wind at him the Homelander sarcastically acts scared then he lasers him.

Anthony Starr is a great actor, i hope he wins an aware because of this role. He has really made people hate Homelander.

The usual argument for him being weaker isn't that superman is an alien and he's human. It's that superman and omni man have actual combat training and have faced enemies far stronger than them, so they're at or close to their peak combat potential and strength while homelander never honed or trained his abilities.

@@ashokmohan399 actually homelander training since he born and he knows how to control his power for example homelander knows how hot his heat vision could be to make milk warm without cut the bottle and homelander is very better than superman in combat and skill and experience because homelander was able to outskill two best melee fighter who nearly strong as him and homelander was able to outskill maeve who spend all her life training to be warrior but superman never training in his entire life because he spend all his life in farm and superman never can fight hand to hand with someone in his own size and superman was able to beat zod and stepenwolf not because he has skill only reason superman was able to beat zod and stepenwolf is just because he is 10 times stronger than both of them and superman never fight against someone in his own size before so superman never outskill anyone and that is mean superman has zero combat so in term of combat and skill and experience and battle experience: omni man>homelander>superman (note: i speak about live action superman not comic because in live action superman was very weak in a lot of things)

@@deadzone4624 superman is weak at skill + combat of course ( i am talking about dceu) just like we saw superman use only the same fighting style in every fights that is why batman was able to use superman as a punching bag because superman never actually trained in his life even zod told superman that (where did you trained? in a farm?) which means superman spent his entire life in a farm and never fought with anyone as strong as himself meanwhile homelander not always use the same fighting skyle we saw homelander outskilled soldier boy + billy butcher at the same time and they are stated that billy butcher trained by malory in military for 20 years and soldier boy has over 50 years battle experience and homelander outskill them and he was very close to kill them if hughie didn't show up and just like homelander said (you are the only one who nearly as strong as me) which means soldier boy nearly as strong as homelander and billy butcher is equally as strong as soldier boy so it means homelander beat both of them because of his skill and let us not forget homelander equally fought with queen maeve and queen maeve trained her entire life to be a warrior so homelander actually have some fighting style and he won't use same combat in every fights and homelander actully fought better than superman in hand to hand (homelander has more experience + skill + combat than superman)

He's like superman. A villain superman..

His weaknesses would be that he actually is a man child. In episode 2 you can actually see him pouting like a child in his Boss's office (her name is stupid so I don't remember it). He also will do anything to keep his patriotic image in place, assuming that his impulses don't get the better of him. Being sociopathic can limit his manipulation skills, but his complete lack of sympathy and remorse is sadly a benefit any day. Also I might want to make it clear, at 2:54 that isn't cow's milk, it's his boss's milk. I know that All Powers Explained knew that, but a pretty funny joke, nonetheless.

in the show Homelander is invincible, Vogelbaum tested his durability, Homelander went to space in a deleted scene, Homelander is superior to anything on earth. In the comics Homelander is not that powerful and can be killed by a nuke or harmed by super piercing bullets. Homelander definitely is a powerful character, not very powerful but powerful he can never get to superman prime one million level.
