Was that on Thanksgiving night after we finished dessert, we put everybody's name on to a slip of paper and put it into a bowl. So we decided we would have a secret Santa just with the adults and everybody would buy for the kids. Everybody was dreading who got my mother because it was the toughest assignment you can get ever! Mostly because this was one of the few new sketches they had for this episode (for those who don't remember: This was the episode that was partially shut down due to rising Omicron variant COVID cases, so all they did was show the pretaped sketches that were supposed to be on this episode if it were done live and a lot of classic sketches that were Christmas-themed).

And this is one of many reasons I'm a youth and children's pastor! Even more so than teachers, we get the fun of hanging out with other people's kids with less of the day-to-day responsibility. I highly recommend it. A warning, though: eventually you do get tired of only being a guest star in the kids' life and find yourself wanting your own after all.
