My deepest condolences to The Hill Family I am a great admirer of his father Dr EV hill who is gone on to be with the Lord Dr. Hill was in my top 3 preachers of the gospel. I remember Dr. Hill talking about his son in one of his sermons years ago on TBN how that he would not give up his son like abraham was willing to give up Issac or like GOD did when he gave Jesus his only begotten son. I did not know the ministry of his son Dr. EV Hill II but from all the Great Expressions about his life I can see that he was a chip off the old block of his father Dr EV Hill. We've lost a great minister. Strength and blessings upon the family In Jesus Name.

I remember in 1982 when Dr E.V Hill came to Morehouse for Religious Emphasis Week and tore the place up. His son came also and I could see the fire burning in his eyes and he was upset because one day there was no one to be baptized. His Father said we still have another day. Rest in Power and Peace my Brother Pastor. Job well done your Legacy is set in Stone and God will give you your Reward. Praying for Lady Hill and the Family.

Homegoing service is beautiful. Most well-known black/African American pastors in the city or the country (back woods) have very long services like these. I attended one of my late Pastor. It lasted about 5 hours because everyone and well you know the rest was on the program. I felt so much sympathy for his family having to sit through it.

Just now hearing about the generational EV Hill II...All my unconditional love to the entire family...❤❤❤❤❤

These ladies with their operatic singing is absolutely awesome! Praise God!! I knew Dr. E.V. Hill Sr., , from watching him on TBN, but didn't have the blessing to hear his son preach and teach the Word. My deepest condolences to the family, church family, friends and those around the TBN world. May the Lord bring each of you Comfort, His Grace, His Mercy and Strength to Endure this journey. May Dr. E.V. Hill Jr. gather up his wings and sit at the Father's feet and sing and praise all day long. We know not the time nor the hour, so, when the Lord is speaking to your heart, soul and spirit, you need to listen! I remember his father would say that all the time and I'm sure he did as well. I enjoyed E. V Hill Sr when he ministered on TBN before they strayed from the Gospel. Fed many homeless from his kitchen. Young man certaintly McDonald's from good stock.

RIP Rev. Dr. EV Hill II. I remember how my Grandmother and I would watch your father on TBN. God bless your family and may God comfort their hearts and give them strength daily,

Oh, how he loved the work of the Lord. Always busy about his heavenly fathers business. A dear brother in the Lord. A great and caring pastor. My prayer is that our Heavenly Father gives Tisa and their son a special grace at this time. God rest his soul.

So sorry to hear that Pastor Hill passed.I knew him when he attended College in Prairie View,Texas. He lead the Baptist Student Movement that I attended. I lived across the street from his first wife Jane Edna. I went to High School & College with his Sister- in-law Rose Marie, I Worked as a telephone operator with his Brother-In-law Johnny. My Love goes out to the Hill family. Mary Ethel Fry-Moore.

This was a very nicely done service. Sometimes us black folk can overdue it, but this was very dignified, orderly, and time appropriate for a Pastor. Who wants to sit at a funeral for hours??? And I love that and invitation to discipleship was given after the sermon. The family did a fantastic job!

Wow, it's amazing how I thought and posted of Pastor E.V. Hill of MT. Zion Missionary just last week, remembering him through my elder sister who loved his teaching and the whole Zion family. I know he was a blessing to our family, he serviced my mother's home going in a time my family needed him most, I was a freshman college kid lost without my mom. When I looked at Senior Pastor, Dr. E.V. Hill while crying, I asked him to tell the Lord to please take care of my mom. Pastor Hill senior looked at me with a smile of comfort just like a dad would, and held me while I cried. I knew that meant no need to tell the Lord what he's been doing all along. I understand it more and more as a believer and understanding the word of God. I pray that same comfort for the Hill family today, God will take care of you. God bless you Hill family with comfort during this time. 👏👏🙏💕🙏👏👏 "Hold to His Hands, God's Unchanging Hands"
