I love making soups, one of my favorites is the ol’ classic chicken noodle but I took it up a notch so it’s more chicken tortellini vegetable soup. I buy the rotisserie chicken from the store (already seasoned and cooked, yay) and take it off the bone, i add carrots, celery, onions, peas, corn, mushrooms, spinach, garlic and cheese tortellini. Soooo good! My kids love it too!!

I got a Keurig Advent calendar as a gift. It has had a good mix of flavored and unflavored K Cups. Some of flavored ones were more of a second cup or an evening coffee drink for me. The peppermint coffee went great with some peppermint schnapps I had on hand in it. Enjoy the variety!

Ive been reading the mistletoe romance series: nick and noels Christmas playlist, something about merry, and along came holly. So far im enjoying them!

I’m a morning girlie. I got up at 3.30 today. Usually it’s between 4-5. I love the quiet, dark of an early morning. I light a candle, make coffee and catch up on youtube. The time difference means the US/UK content is out when i wake up. Chick peas are one of my favorite foods but the canned ones are soggy and terrible for soup. Get some dried ones- throw them in the soup early and by the time the soup’s ready )in an hour or two) they’re cooked. They add a nutty texture and are so so good. With dried kidney beans you need to soak them in water the night beforehand to remove any leftover toxins.

I had to check the calendar to see what day it was. I was so confused, I thought it was Tuesday! lol but nothing is better than a surprise Tara vlog during the week 😍

don't worry tara - i've never seen the holiday either 🙈 i was never into romance holiday movies until now. growing up, home alone, the grinch and re-runs of old shows were my vibe. now i'm into the hallmark romance movies and am slowly getting into the movies i missed out on. like love actually. 😅

I totally understand you. I traveled overseas (LIS - VCP) for the first time ever and I thought I was okay when I came back home because it was “just” a 4h difference…but I was SO TIRED!

I just watched you on your vlog from last year, almost exactly a year. You went ice skating with your friends. So cute. You’re so sweet, first you’re intimidated because there’s no rail to hold onto and then you end up holding your friend up the whole time and being so supportive. You’re so nice Tara. Glad you’re home safe and sound, but the trip looked amazing. So beautiful! Funny I just watched the original cooking of this particular soup. You cut up celery, carrots and onion. And you added quinoa right before bringing it to a boil. Then you added the chick peas, kale and the coconut milk.

totally forgot it was vlogmas 😅 i got confused why there was an upload a day early haha. i'm so used to the tuesday/friday uploads lol but anywho, glad your relaxing after your trip. london and paris looked so much fun! so many memories to take in. i hope you get to go back soon 😊 night owl or morning bird? i am def a night owl. ever since i was a teen i would stay up until 3-4am. there was so much energy left in me i didn't know how to fully sleep on a proper schedule lol as for ideas for vlogmas - you can treat each day like an advant calender. every day you can do something random and film it. it can be anything from a new goal, decorating, a personal dare etc.

I'm a night owl. But..the mornings I'm up early;I totally feel like it's a few hours, of a headstart. Wow, you are late to "The Holiday". The way you had it on in London;I would've guessed you'd already watched it. One of the emotional scenes to me, was of Graham's daughters Olivia&Sophie; also falling in love with Amanda. That movie is classic.

Depends on the day for me. If I’m really tired and wanting to sleep earlier in the night I’m an early riser. But mostly I’m a night owl. Either way I get stuff done I need to.

Most advent calendars only have a few “holiday” items in them. They want to give a sample of what they have in the calendar so that the consumer may like something enough to buy again.

I think the thing with the Nespresso pods (or coffee cups/beans in general) is thay they're more "aroma's" than flavours. So rather a smell with a slight lingering flavour rather than a full on sweetness flavour! Maybe that sets some expectations 😂 haha

I use to be a morning person and take a nap in the day, but with late uni classses i became a night owl with no nap time, now im a potato. My sleep schedule is messed up but im in bed by 9 or 10 these days 😂

I USED to be a night owl. Back when we used MSN/Instant messenger/MySpace and i only had a desktop computer, i used to stay up chatting to people and listening to "downloaded" music until 5am every night... When i started hearing the birds, that is when i knew that it was bedtime, no matter what plans i had for that day. Now (since whenever MSN died... 11 + Years ago) i am a in bed by 10 and asleep by 11 sort of person.

You made me curious about how many books I've read this year. So I started counting in my digital orders on Amazon. They only went back to June 18th. Amazon would go back further. 179 books since June 18th. I do read quickly. I am taking classes in college for fun, but during the summer I had a lot of free time. I love hearing about what you are reading. I tend to get a lot of free books from amazon to keep the book expenditures down. So I feel free to actually buy books when they are recommended. Keep the recommendations coming!!

I'm forced to be a night owl because I work 3rd shift, but there's something so peaceful and calming about being awake at night vs being in the middle of daytime chaos. If you know you know lol

It would have been so cute to see a (time) Timelapse during the scene where you sat on the couch w the laptop .. like 10am ... sped up to the time you got off the couch for lunch etc lol. 😆 ❤

i love how you listen to yourself/body like if you dont feel like going out and need more time to recharge. doing whats best for you! makes me happy to see and i need to do this more

Used to be a night owl in my twenties, became a morning person, currently am neither🥴

I always say that I'm not an night owl person neither an morning person, I am just a regular person who likes to go to bed at 10:30pm and wake up at 8:30am and just be functional on a regular time frame hahaha
