Non, those books aren't French love poetry. Lettres de la Forêt-Noire [Letters Of The Black Forest] by José Cabanis is somewhat of an autobiographic novel about a young man experiencing the meanders of war in 1940's Europe, and penning down his story in the latter part of his life in the late 90's. Sur Le Rhin [On the Rhin - a river that goes through Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Liechtenstein, France, Switzerland and a part of Italy] by Henri Bordeaux is part of a three books series. Rather than get into what it's about, I'd advise you don't take it out of its plastic cover as this copy appears to be an original that likely dates back from 1919~1920, and there aren't many original copies left. Le Bar Du Lendemain [The Day After's Bar] by Georges Ribemont-Dessaignes - whom by the way, is a French artist quite "Nietzscheque", who was a musician, painter and poet amongst other things - is about two brothers settling in NYC in 1927, going through their fair share of baroque adversities - life essentially - that end up founding a bar together, and powerlessly witnessing the birth of a new religion. Weird I know. A modern take on it would consist of us all - AKA most 21st century lambda folks - witnessing Kanye West's "religious epiphany", and turning into somewhat of a modern self-proclaimed messiah with "cultish" ways, while going on about our respective lives ^^ It could make for an interesting read if you ask me. Anywho, you've got exquisite tastes and a lovely personality, I'm glad this is video popped up in my recommended. notes that I thought of during the video: - put both mirrors on the vanithy to make it look not as empty. - put a large long print with frame inside the fireplace so you don´t have so much wall behind it. orr put those long candle stick holders with candles on it inside/by the fireplace - put a round rug in your room, because you have a lot of squares.

An area rug under the bed & then a separate mini rug for in front of the mirror! It divides & designates the spaces but is still pleasing to the eye! :)

You could upload a two hour long video of you decorating your house and room and all that and I would watch the whole entire thing

love the look, but one thing to remember when staking so much stuff on the ground is how much harder it makes cleaning your space. because itll make you (or your cleaning person) have to pick up each individual thing to be able to broom, vacum, and mop. meaning when its placed back there is a potential of things breaking or not being put back exactly the same. just something to keep in mind, esp the cleaning point as it really is a head ache!

I'm sorry Kelsey but your French books are not at all about love poetry. I had read some of them and they are war and immigration related novels. "Le bar du lendemain" is a really pessimistic dadaist novel and the "Les lettres de la Forêt Noire" is recounting the story of a french familly facing starvation during the Second World War. All the books you have are quite gloomy atcually. (Sorry for my unperfect english but i'm french...) Good luck for your french lessons!

@@pam2910 there are some childrens classics such as Le Petit Prince, Le petit Nicolas, Les fables de la Fontaine, Les malheurs de Sophie or some longer stories such as Vendredi ou la vie Sauvage and Le tour du monde en 80 jours

Hi Kelsey !! Those books are really cute. As I'm french I've tried to do some research about these, but unfortunately I didn't understood nothing ahah. Jean Joël Barbier is actually a pianist, so I don't know if he wrote novel, poetry or something else... For "Sur le Rhin" wich means " On the Rhin (a river)" I think it's a novel but I couldn't find any blurb or explanation... weird.. But, "Le bar du lendemain" is actually a pretty cool book ! It happens at New New (an imaginary New York), two brother go through a lot of adventures, and they witness to the creation of a new religion... bref, it's kinda fun.
