@Geekyranjit: It would be great if you could make a video comparing various SoCs such as Kirin, Snapdragon, Mediatek, and Exynos in the low and mid end. So that end users would have a better idea. Also, qualcomm has a near monopoly now, which is why phone prices are getting jacked up.

I'm that guy who loves wiring these stuff than actually listening to it! I also completely made myself one of the home theatre in the house. I designed the amplifiers, filters (by doing all the calculations), made my custom PCB from JLCPCB (China) and hand soldered the premium quality components. I also made my own speaker cabinets out of MDF. It really sounds great. And it costed a fraction of what expensive commercial products cost.

TDA2030 IC is a popular choice as it's cheap and descent sounding. It's a class AB power amplifier with built in output stage. 4Ω and 8Ω speakers can be hooked directly at the output, can provide about 10W output power.

You explained it so well! I would request you to make a video about why do we need an AVR in proper 5.1 setup. Because people in India are still buying and preferring conventional 5.1 ready setup from brands like Sony, Samsung etc which doesn't come with the AVR. Thank you❤️
We use a Soundbar since we don't have an enclosed room. A 100W RMS Soundbar with subwoofer is more than enough for a medium sized room for an average listener. If you don't have an enclosed room and if you're staying with family, it'll be a nuisance for other family members and the neighbors. Conclusion : There's no point in spending a lot of money on a proper Home theater if you don't have a dedicated soundproof room.

Yeah that's what ppl don't get it you need a proper enclosed room with some sound proofing for a proper home theater setup and most homes these days and if you live in a flat it's difficult to have that hence soundbar are way more convenient.

I was about to comment and request for this video... Mann ki baat sun li, Sir. Now, the confusion is cleared.
Recently bought JBL 5.1 soundbar 510W @ 45k. It comes with Dolby DTS & 2 wireless speakers. Its a beast. Sound way better than other soundbars with only exception of BOSE soundbar which is way too expensive. Now JBL launched 9.1 soundbar too which is around 80-90k, out of my budget.
Atlast some 1 to explain everything properly.

Well put sir, Soundbars have come a long way since their inception. I feel, a pair of good quality TWS compatible Speakers would give us much better theater experience. It's a cheap hack for those who want the theatre experience.

Hi sir iam watching from Samsung galaxy core prime when u reviewed
You ALWAYS upload QUALITY videos
the huge gap of performance between sound bar and AVR system is to be taken into consideration, but you need to take into equation HT system with wireless satellite speakers. One cannot replace the surround sound you get with speakers....so please check options for HT systems with wireless speakers and then you can provide comparision between three...i am sure it will get down to cost then....!
Thank you I was thinking about the same but you made my decision better

Thank you sir. I was already into soundbars because of their minimalistic appeal and now it has just become more clearer for me. And yes I really was terrified when knowing about the price and wiring works needed for a home theater setup from @Technology Jock home theater setup video!
I'm a fan of traditional speakers and amplifiers and have a 5.1 Yamaha system at home. That said, the other day I went to a store and listened to a JBL soundbar + subwoofer that costs $500 and completely blew me away. The sound had that punch in your face that you get in the theatre for a fraction of the cost and space.
Hi...ji...your talking English very superrr and very clear...and also your voice little bit Sachin voice I like it
What I great vid and comparison Super this will help many people to make the decision thank you
Sound bars are for small rooms and they do their best, but the dedicated surround speakers makes much more difference
I have jbl 5.1 soubar with wireless sub.. extremely superb... just living it. Awesome bass 🔊 😎 👌 ♥ 👏

Well explained and totally agree. I had a Denon/Mission theatre setup, but now we just have a Polk soundbar and I use good headphones. We have small children and they're always running around the lounge, poking speakers and pushing them over is just not worth the risk and stress with an expensive setup.

Sir make a video on on grid and off grid system for ur home and how much is the total cost
It also highly depends upon the room size/Service Area which often is not mentioned by many reviewers. For room size upto or under 200sqfeet 2.1 sound bar system is recommended. Upto 350sqare feet 5.1/ 7.1 is generally recommended. If your area is 500sq feet or more than it is best to go for AVR system.
Nice information at right time for me

I have a Sony 5.1 proper home theatre system where the front and center speakers are directly connected to the receiver and the 2 rear speakers connect to a separate small receiver which can be kept underneath the couch and that small receiver connects to the main receiver wirelessly... what do you think about this setup sir?
Hi Ranjit, I am planning to get 85" QLED(2021 Q70A) and a matching sound bar to have home theatre setup in my lounge space. My lounge size is 12.5 foot depth, width is 10.5 foot and ceiling height is 7.9 foot. I wish to have 4 seats in a row. Could you please advise on choosing between Home theatre soundbar samsung HW-Q900A and Q870A(2021). Both are in same price the range. Q900A has 7.1.2 channel sound without rear speakers. Q870A has 5.1.4 channel sound with wireless rear speakers. Could you please suggest me to choose the better soundbar from the above, considering my room space, TV size and seating capacity. Thanks in advance.
I was really thinking about asking you for the comparison. Really amazed you did the same video. Love your informative and true experience videos.
Thankyou sir for this comparision.
Please review more on sound bar and home theaters. Thanks
which sound bar is good in bass and dolly atoms either Sony or JBL very confused
What about Active Bookshelf speakers 2.0 or 2.1 with built in amps ? They sound way better than sound bars and can be plugged directly to TV or can be played directly via bluetooth... Sound fidelity wise they are way better than sound bars and are comparatively cheaper also...
Hi Ranjit What do you think about the Sonos ecosystem? Is it better to get the Sonos Arc Dolby Atmos Soundbar and have a couple of Sonos One speakers as rear speakers? Add to that Sonos Sub for additional Bass. What’s your take?
Thank you for your information sir 👍

Hey Ranjit, hope you are having a great time. Can you review the Sony HT A9 ? I have heard alot of hype about its innovative 360 degree spatial audio but mostly from tech KZreadrs of west. Would love to hear your thoughts and whether it's worth spending 2 lacs over it in India ? I m curious can it really produce an immersive experience of sound separation just like the theatre .
Request you to do a detailed video on Buying a Monitor vs TV for connecting a laptop to work, play games....
If somebody is a movie lover than definitely they would go with home theatre. That immersive experience in home theater is like ........
I have Onkyo 5.1 AVR system which is nearly 7 years old. It came bundled with 5 satellite speakers and a passive subwoofer. The satellites are so so and eventually I replaced them with Yamaha speakers except the subwoofer which is really nice. For front channels I am using Yamaha NS-8390 and for center and rear channels I am using Yamaha NS-P51. The output... you have to listen it yourself to believe it. It's true, for an AVR system you need to have a proper room and you have to plan before hand. Sound bars are compact, hassle free, easy to setup... but they really miss that punch of a proper AVR home theatre system. But the most important thing is that AVR systems are for audiophiles and soundbars are for others. And another thing, how expensive a soundbar maybe, it will never match even a mid range AVR system with wooden speakers. According to my opinion, if space is a constraint, then go for a soundbar. But if you plan to buy an AVR home theatre system, don't buy an HTiB setup i.e. with bundled speakers. Buy the receiver and the speakers separately. It may become a tad expensive but it's worth spending the money.
