I do not understand what they were thinking with this one, in the other films it was fun to watch the traps because the villains deserved it. This one its just disturbing because they do not deserve it at all so I can't find this funny at all. Just a sick movie honestly.

I know i'm not the first or only person in the comments here to say this, but i felt bad for Jeff and Pam. not only because of all the suffering they went through in this entire scene but also because of the fact that they were about to lose their house during Christmas, i mean something like that is both sad and messed up. So yeah i found Jeff and Pam's motives for getting the doll back (even though they didn't know Max actually didn't have it at the time) to be understandable

Unlike the past home alones where the villains were just goofy ahh robbers you didn't have any feelings for getting beat around by a little kid. This movie is just a spoiled Rich kid beating the shit out of and nearly killing two parents who are trying to help their struggling family.

Dang it is sad to see Jeff and Pam getting beaten up. I know they are the “bad guys” but they did not wanna rob the house. They just wanted the doll back.

Are we not going to talk about how this is the only kid (besides the home alone 3 kid) who successfully beat the villains without any help

A movie about the misunderstanding from hell... Really shows how how feuds can start and when people don't sit down and talk when it's needed

Right, that’s why the Wet Bendits worked so well in the first two films. They were criminals breaking into the house and were legit actively trying to kill him so Kevin had no choice but to fight back.

Saw this movie on Disney+ last year, and wow, they actually made a movie worse than Home Alone 4. They had the balls to have Buzz McCallister be in it (why did he even agree to this?) AND reference Kevin. It was a lot easier to symphasise with the bad guys here, and they weren't even doing anything wrong, AND they had a lot more screentime so they're technically the protagonists. The kid is so unlikable with no redeeming qualities. As for the traps, I admit there were a lot more here than in HA4 but by God they're awful. The majority of them involve the kid attacking the "villains" heads-on by throwing things at them, that's when they're not recycling traps from the previous movies. The woman stepping on the LEGO is literally a ripoff of Marv stepping on the Christmas decorations/them tripping on the Micro Machines in the first movie.

Okay, compared to Home Alone 1 and 2, Marv and Harry actually deserved it a little more since they were wanted criminals. While Jeff and Pam just wanted the doll back without hurting the brat we call Max. No wonder this movie got a 3.6/10 on IMDB, it was baaad.

This was a great movie, and i love the ending where Jeff, Pam, and Max all get along smoothly.

I hated Home Sweet Home Alone. Here are my reasons why it's the worst sequel ever made The "Burglars" are not Burglars They're an innocent couple who are about to lose their home Max being left home alone makes no sense in the original it made sense cause there was a power outage and the family were in a hurry to get to the airport which was why Kevin was accidentally left Home Alone. In this movie Max just falls asleep in the car and that's how he gets left behind The traps are not funny at all cause it involves an innocent couple who don't deserve it unlike Harry & Marv who actually did deserve it cause they were bad people. The Buzz cameo was very forced, the references to the first two movies are just forced This movie felt like an attack on two movies that mean so much to me and were part of my childhood. This movie was terrible. It's like taking something you really loved as a kid and just abusing it. Home Sweet Home Alone is the worst sequel i've ever seen. It used to be Speed 2 Cruise Control, but i recognize that Home Sweet Home Alone is worse than Speed 2 Cruise Control. It is one of the worst movies i've ever seen. It's mean spirited and insulting to my Home Alone Nostalgia.

The difference between the two duos is that Pam and Jeff are trying to provide for their kids, while Harry and Marv are criminals who steal from others. Because they are criminals the pain they suffer is funny because Kevin was giving them their just desserts, especially when you consider they attempted a much more evil burglary in the sequel that involves charity for a children's hospital.

Incredulous. Terrible story. Terrible casting. Terrible acting. Terrible cinematography. If there are two things I have to give credit for is Buzz’s cameo and the soundtrack. True it’s not as powerful as John Williams’ score but you can tell that John Debney was at least *trying* with the music.
