To see you go from that apartment in Tuscaloosa to THIS makes me darn near cry. So proud of you brother. SO VERY proud of you. You inspire me.
This is one of my favorite studio tours. Any tour that starts off with Ali and Jordan, plaques and awards and then a room with 2x4's and a hot water heater gets 2 thumbs up from me. Kept it real.
Just getting started with making a home studio, this video was one of the most helpful because it shows that you don't need all that brand new most expensive stuff that many other channels show you on their tours for their studios...... Thank you for making this.
Thanks so much for letting us see “behind the scenes”, and schooling us new guys to what’s really necessary, and what’s not. I sincerely appreciate it and my wallet does also. 👍🏾💯
I'm a young man from Detroit that never made a beat and I have nothing to make beats on with very lows funds. You are my inspiration honestly. I pray I can get half as far as you. I dream of beats in my sleep literally

Get a laptop with a decent amount of RAM, and there are so many free or very cheap recording apps out there, and countless how-to videos on KZread. And good studio headphones; nothing that's going to artificially boost bass levels like regular music listening headphones do. Even spending $50-$100 on a good online video course in making and recording beats is definitely worth the investment. Pro Mix Academy has lots of great courses on all kinds of music: promixacademy.com/audio-courses/
Thanks for a peek inside of some happiness! You have it more than going on! I like your pace!!
Yes BDP....you are so right...you don't need the latest PC/Mac/iPad etc....just get a previous version for much less and invest your money elsewhere on specific gears. As new products are release prices will drop...eventually. Each brand has there releases on new models at least twice a year. For those who strictly prefer Mac (laptop/desktop) the older models are easily upgrade-able, because the newer models now have parts that are affixed/soldered which will resort to one having to use things externally ...particularly with storage space....so spend wisely if you're just starting out...and good luck! Great studio tour! Thanks BDP.
Thanks for the tour, Bolo! Always fun to see other folks’ creative spaces.
Thanks for the tour… you’re very humble. Dope setup.
Great job - liked this alot . Congrats -no BS straight up.
Very inspiring setup. I’m looking to improve my home studio. I already have some of that gear. But this is definitely ideal for me as a producer and engineer. Thanks for sharing.

I had a 2012 Macbook pro until 2018. When I upgraded to a 2015 macbook pro, with 16 gb ram, and a 512gb ssd. Logic pro X is only thing I use, libraries and everything else can go on an sd card and or an external usb 3.0 drive. The 2012 served me well, but it died when my daughter spilled water on in :/. haha (not funny). Nice set up, modest and gets it done. That's what I basically have as well, minus the rack stuff.
Those Argosy console desks are pretty much the industry standard in high end studios. I own the same halo desk myself. A very solid well made desk that will last for decades. Def worth the money for sure!
Bolo! I first got on to you on that T-Pain track, "She Got It." Thanks for the transparency.

Appreciate the video, very well explained. I am in the process of redoing my set up I am going to be using Nuendo 10 on my MacBook Pro 2015 mid, cubsasis 3 and beat-maker 3 for my iPad Pro 11.If possIble can you do a video in regards to taking a sample from a website like looperman or splice and loading into BM3?

Beautiful gear!!!! I use to have more but I realize I don’t need a lot. My brother has that same IMac and it’s fully loaded. I’m wondering should I get that from him or buy the 2018 IPad? Can I really do it all on just the IPad? I also wanna play my guitar through my it.
What's up bro? I hope you and your family had an awesome vacation in Orlando. Nice studio.

Thanks for the video. I like how you held the camera from the perspective of someone sitting at the desk. I thought the racks on the desktop of the Halo would be too intrusive and busy for my OCD, but now I'm thinking maybe it might be ok.
I definitely wanna upgrade to that UA interface..

Good video man, top quality gear! I have the Apollo X6 and the Avalon 737. Just out of curiosity, what preamp out of them both do you feel has a better sound? I bypass the Apollo pre and use the Avalon's pre, but i'm just curious how you have it set up and what you prefer man
Aye Bolo you had me crackin up when you said imma show yall a whole bunch of stuff that I dont even use 😂😂 that's how it is when you have a studio I've never used my ableton push even once I had 3 yrs now never use any keyboards only my mpk261 key controller

does having panels or any sort of acoustic treatment behind the speakers help with bass build up?

Nah not, really the corners, top to bottom are more important. But hit don’t help to control frequencies in the over all room
I definitely want to see the downtown studio!
I love your home studio bro.
What's up Bolo really appreciate you. One question I have I hope you can answer. I have a mpc 2000xl and a renaissance. Would you recommend I get the mpc x ? 🤔 do you think that is needed to compete with today's sound?
nice one bro, but i have a question: Is window good in recording studio room.¿

Awesome set-up! Not quite understanding the Power conditioner going into 2 other power conditioners to filter out the noise? 🤔
Great to see your studio and the kit you use, how are you feeling about the MPC X currently? You mentioned before that you felt as though Akai could be doing more to support their MPC X users, are you on the look out for a replacement or do you still use this a lot, and do you use your beatmaker 3 setup with the Ipad more often?
Nice video bro . How much will it cost me to open a mini studio? For a start. Will appreciate your response.
homie i dream of this set up good job
