Willie Mays is the reason I am a Giants fan today and forever. I was 8 yrs old. I am 67 now. He had that charisma. RIP Willie. You are the greatest.

This was Wrigley Field a ballpark in Los Angeles, California. It hosted minor league baseball teams in the region for more than 30 years. It was the home park for the Los Angeles Angels of the Pacific Coast League (PCL), as well as for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB) during their inaugural season in 1961.

Wow, these are from the time when Classic Sports Network was its own network before ESPN bought it. These are available elsewhere on KZread but I would personally love them all uploaded with vintage 1996 commercials intact because it reminds me of watching them with my dad during this timeframe. We got DirecTV in October 1995 and one of the first things he gravitated towards was Classic Sports Network and we both watched the Home Run Derby re-runs in late 1995 and 1996 together. What's amazing is that if I recall correctly, it was channel 305 on DirecTV at the time.

I'm leaning towards one video with time indices you can click to go to individual episodes, for the reasons you cite. I'm still working on it. Thank you for the input.

Even though this was his last year in baseball, it's too bad Ted Williams didn't make an appearance.

Sorry this isn’t related to the video, but do you have the 1988 NLCS Game 7? I know one exists on KZread already but there’s a sound-picture delay that kinda ruins the video for me, was wondering if you had a better synced version

Wrigley Field, the one-time ballpark of the Pacific Coast League Los Angeles Angels. They left after the 1957 season so the Dodgers could move into the Coliseum. The Dodgers turned over Wrigley Field to the City of Los Angeles. When "Home Run Derby" was filmed in 1960, no professional ballclub played there. The American League expansion Los Angeles Angels played there in 1961, then moved into Dodger Stadium for 1962. Wrigley Field was demolished a few years later. This ballpark was used to film a number of movies and TV shows, e.g. "Damn Yankees."
