yeah man I agree with you Lil story here sorry haha So I have a friend I’ve been pretty much brothers with for 15 years (I’m almost 16 rn) and two years ago he moved to California. Every summer he comes back for a month or two (he lives right next to me!!!!) and every summer I’m the happiest I could ever be I went up to Tahoe for a week in February this past winter and we skied and had the most fun it was awesome, but when the time came to leave at like 2am while he was still sleeping it was pretty sad. I remember getting in the car (also it was DUMPING SNOW like 5 ft very dangerous for driving lol) and just playing THIS SONG It usually makes me emotional but this time it really resonated with meI cried so goddamn hard haha It kinda fit with the whole situation because I was flying back home after a really good time. I think I had this on repeat for a few hours GOOD NEWS THO!!!!! he’s moving back to NY with me permanently in august! ❤

This is why I love synthwave. It's a really awesome genre and a lot of songs can produce multiple different feelings. I heard resonance in November of 2017 and I fell in love with it. In June of 2018, I Started listening to more synthwave artists. Many songs helped me develop concepts. Now, I want to be an astronaut too because of this one song I heard. A.L.I.S.O.N - Mist. Here are some artists that I love: HOME Decisive Koala Hotel Pools De Lorra A.L.I.S.O.N Mr.Serpent Yu Utsu Monolism Unfound Krosia Hello Meteor Emil Rottmayer Zane Alexander Rosentwig Voyage You should check them out 💫

I've listened to nearly every single artist performing in the genre. I've sticked to De Lorra the most. Just as you, I heard Resonance years ago. At the beginning listening to this music invited me to enrich myself with more music in general, I felt so cultured and intelligent, listening to all their music, one track at a time. However, for some reason- I keep coming back to HOME. The beginning of my journey, it has exploded with popularity already and while I don't really stick to any communities regarding the genre. I'd like to say greetings. It's verh nice I am even able to recognize the artist behind new music, just by listening closely to the tunes.

"HOME - Resonance" is a captivating and emotional song that has gained popularity and admiration among music lovers worldwide. There are several reasons why this song is considered a good song, and this essay aims to discuss some of these reasons. Firstly, the melody of the song is simple yet incredibly memorable. It has a unique blend of different elements, including an infectious synthesizer riff and an upbeat drumbeat, which create a sense of nostalgia and longing. The song's opening notes alone can evoke powerful emotions and transport the listener to a different time and place. The way the melody builds up throughout the song is also noteworthy, as it slowly introduces new elements while still maintaining the central theme. Secondly, the song has a powerful emotional impact. The lyrics are minimal, but they still manage to convey a sense of yearning and longing. The lyrics evoke a sense of melancholy and nostalgia, as if the singer is reminiscing about the past and what could have been. The combination of the lyrics and melody makes for a hauntingly beautiful experience that resonates with listeners. Thirdly, the song's production is top-notch. The track's mixing and mastering are exceptional, resulting in a song that sounds polished and refined. The song's sound quality is so good that every element of the track can be heard clearly, making for a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience. Lastly, the song has managed to stand the test of time. Released in 2014, "HOME - Resonance" has continued to gain new listeners and has become a cult classic among fans of the electronic genre. The song's popularity has also led to it being used in several popular media, including television shows and video games. In conclusion, "HOME - Resonance" is a good song because of its unforgettable melody, powerful emotional impact, exceptional production, and longevity. The song has managed to capture the hearts of listeners worldwide and will undoubtedly continue to do so for many years to come.

i used to smoke a lot and almost every time, in past years, l i put on resonance and it made me go into such realms of my mind i couldn’t reach when i was sober. my addiction became uncontrollable, i didn’t like sobriety it made me extremely anxious. after years of what i guess was abuse i quit exactly two months ago - because this song was so connected to my smoking i couldn’t listen to it when sober, despite being one of my favorite retro wave tracks, and just today i heard this version in one of the ig reels and i realized this new version didn’t sent me back into those memories however good or bad they were. i love sobriety now, with all it’s ups and downs reality seems to me way better than the escapism i put myself through before. i now plan my life, i believe that future holds something for me, that i don’t have to slow my brain to be happy. and weed did exactly that (even sativa, it truly didn’t matter). now when i have my life together (almost every aspect of it except for my mental health, i’m still hard working on it) i know that one day i will be able to listen to all those “high” songs without getting triggered.

Words can't describe how much i love this song, and this slowed down version. I could listen to this all the time just because this doesn't reflect one specific mood. It can be happy, it can be sad, something in between or just make you feel empty. But ngl this song hits the hardest when it's like 3 am, you just lie in your bed and you just turn everything off, listen to this and think. I just love this and it makes me feel things that i can't even really describe

Three years into health sciences, I decided to leave for a program I actually enjoyed. Took a gap year. I was always the kid doing things the fastest and moving forward the quickest. Now I'm 22 years old with a new perspective starting a new degree in mechanical engineering this fall. I'll be 27 by the time I graduate. I have no idea if I'm making the right choice and never in my life have I ever been this uncertain about what I need or want to do. I hope I make it somewhere and find fulfillment in my future. It'll be a tough five years but I think I can make it happen. Wish me luck.

This song somewhat brings me into a deeper depression, though it is soothing. I believe that the reason listening to these types of songs is like having someone to talk to. As these sounds really bring out the type of emotions we beings feel. If you let your mind wander, you really start connecting with what you did and how to fix it. I listen to this song and it brings me back to a simpler time, where I didn’t have enemies. This song is the perfect definition of depression and uplifting momentum. Truly the definition *”Slowed to Perfection”* is released. Thank you for reading if you made it this far.

The fun times and the bad times. I can even remember the whole school building... And since I moved far away I can even remember the town and some spots I went to, there was this park down the road of the school, there was a Tim Horton's on main (it wasn't in canada) and a coldstone next to it and there was a highway next it too.. It just makes me think how much my life has changed, and it even feels like making me cry a bit...

I listen to this version of Resonance whenever my depression sends an overwhelming wave of sadness throughout the never-ending thought-void of my mind. The beginning of the song is what really helps me to delve deeper and immerse myself into the unbearable sadness I feel on a daily basis. As soon as I press play, my mind enters a state in which it pauses, and then resumes once the song plays its last melody. Peace.

It's refreshing to see music that celebrates the power within ourselves, the beauty of this world, and the boundless potential of human ingenuity. It reminds us that we are the architects of our own destiny, capable of creating meaning and purpose in our lives without relying on supernatural forces. This will probably be one my first youtube comments ever, I just feel like I need to express my feelings or vibe with this song, I see a lot of comments saying they feel depressed, happy and nostalgic when listening to this song, and those are all feelings I also feel, this music being synthwave makes all those feelings possible, but for myself when I listening to Resonance I imagine myself in very shine and bright city with a thousand of lights and shiny ads and I am just in the dark streets of the city walking alone with nobody just trying to find meaning in life or anything at all, sometimes also I imagine myself walking around or flying in a flying car in futuristic dark but all shiny and bright city just like in Blade runner, I imagine me just driving at night at a thousand places, or just traveling around the world, but the memory and imagination I most get is me laying in my bed at 3 am in the dark just looking at the celling of my room sometimes I dont even imagined, it happens, but all those moments I describe is me always alone, in the dark, thinking and trying to find meaning in anything at all, just like the feeling I have in listening to Resonance, I feel a incredible vibe with this song that I can never and probably will never be able to describe, but I will always think and try to find that meaning and feeling. Ty for reading, sorry for long comment, first comment ever.
