I have a L shaped leatherette sofa currently in my living room. I have to move to a new place and I want use it as a long 4 seater couch. What furniture I can combine with it so that the living room does not look heavy. Kindly note that it will be a parallel furniture set up as one side is a balcony which we do not want to block.

1.Wht should be sofa colour, when wall is white and floor tile is also white in living room, my sofa is tan colour thinking of changing the fabrics of it.. But please suggest me nice colour. 2. Wall at dinning table to be made in mirror, full of mirrors ofcourse a3 sizes, what will you suggest to go easy mirrored stickers or actual mirrors framed on ply n fixing them on wall.

I am from varanasi and my new house is under construction right now. I am confused with the wall colour and tiles for floor for which I have two questions 1.Should I go for wallpapers or pattern on walls of living room and bedroom or by plain paints will also look good and what things must me kept in mind while selecting paints and wall paper? 2. During purchasing tiles what are the factors we need to consider so that room looks beautiful ? All the family member favour bright colours and want that room must look spacious as some rooms are small. This house is all built up in a village area but i want to give it a modern and elegant look keeping the Tamilian touch. 1. It is a 2 floored house with a top open staircase. The flooring is Dark Maroon marbonate for the living hall extended by dining hall. 2. We are unable to decide on the wall colours for the living hall because of the flooring colour. Can you suggest on this. The living hall looks so dim when compared to other rooms. Is there any lighting ideas that can make the hall look bigger 3. What type of upholstery for the sofa do you suggest. 4. What colour of curtains match this flooring. 5. In the hall we have one L shaped sofa along with 3 sets of wooden chairs all together looks a 'U' shape which i feel makes the hall look smaller along with a centre table. We have a room with an existing bed and some space where there is a small 2 seater sofa and two chairs, but there’s just one cupboard and and we want to increase the cupboard space for a couple and some dressing area too, also we have been meaning to put a tv and a book shelf, we have been trying that it doesn’t create or take up a lot of space!

Hello Muninder and Vishakha. Being your ardent follower, I need your suggestion regarding storage of luggages. We store our 10-12 suitcases over steel almirahs as well as on parapet, which was made for our seating. We do have a space near our windows but it is difficult to store our luggages over there due to heavy rainfalls and humid weather. Please give us an alternative so that we could store luggages giving our bedroom a light and manageable storage section and getting rid of the bulky look of the luggages.
