I hope “Do You Hear What I Hear” is in Part 2! It’s musically amazing and filmed in an ice castle. I think Adam Rupp did the arrangement and it’s crazy-good!

Chris Rupp said that no one said anything to him about wearing the hats in the church when filming the videos and that the nuns had actually complimented his hats which were fairly new at the time. The video for Away In A Manger is also shot in a church and Chris is shown taking his hat off before entering. I'd say he learned his lesson.

@@cristianasabre3821 Forgiving or not an inadvertent disrespectful act is not the same as being bugged by it. And it's not necessarily christian either. Also, I have to had that the hat thing is only for the men. Have you ever seen the women during service in a black church? Stylish hats galore!

I have heard that if a service is going on, yes definitely remove your hat. Depending on the church bylaws, if no service, use your own judgement. There is clearly no service going on in these videos.

O Holy Night is in the Cathedral at University of Notre Dame in Indiana about 100 mi outside of Chicago.

He doesn’t ever take the hat off He’s going bald or had some kind of sickness. What ever it is I pray that he finds solace and happiness in himself. Until then I will wait for him to come to terms with it. I love this group and thank you for reacting to them. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

In "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer", the gentleman's house whom they invaded was actually their producer and all of the people who opened their doors were friends of theirs. To answer your question if the people in "White Christmas" were family.....Yes. Tim (the base), Rob (the one with biggest beard and glasses) and Adam (beatboxer) are all married. Home Free is a very family oriented group and a LOT of their video's include family and friends. The video "Good Ole Boy Good Time" was shot at his uncle's farm (If I am not mistaken) in Georgia and towards the end of the film, Austin is dancing with his mother (the one with purple designs on her shirt . In their video "Die a Happy Man", the video features Tim and his then fiance Jenika . In the video "Spaceship", Rob's wife and daughter are featured as he serenades his son still in Kelsey's tummy. I could go on and on pointing out wives and girlfriends in various videos but i would be typing all night !! As you continue to delve through the inventory of videos, you will begin to see recurring faces. I would like to add to the many comments below to please do "Full of Cheer" in Vol. 2. It is a Home Free original and I think you will love it. It takes a more lighthearted and down right hilarious approach to traditional Christmas songs to say the least!!!

The first one is so funny. And I agree with you, the hat in church thing was a no-no for me, too. Loved this! What a treat. And yes, that was their families all gathered together. Now you need to watch Do You Hear What I Hear and Full Of Cheer written by Tim. Thank you, for a fantastic reaction.

When the video came out with Chris wearing a hat in church they had a lot of people complaining about it. The next video performance in a church at the beginning Chris is shown taking his hat off before he enters the church.

The couple with the Baby are the singers The Fox + The Hound. The guy whose house they invade is Darren Rust, their arranger and producer.

The bearded guy is Darrell Marrier of the band Rosewater. He travels with Tim in the video Texas Eats with Tim Foust which is episode 20 of their Home Away From Home series. The elderly lady is Rob's grandmother.

It's The Hound + The Fox and Chance has done some wonderful videos with them under The Hound + The Fox feat. Adam Chance or Adam Chance feat The Hound + The Fox. Their videos The Wayfaring Stranger and The Sound of Silence are billed that way and can be played back to back to back to back with no break.

I do appreciate that, even if he wasn't in the group anymore, Chris Rupp still got to show up in the "White Christmas" cover with his brother Adam and the rest of the group during their family gathering moments (pretty sure Chris is the one that gives Chance the pitch pipe).

"Do You Hear What I Hear" is their best. It is done in an ice castle and the beat boxing is simply amazing.

I loved this video. Yes those were their family members in White Christmas. Rob with his wife & young daughter. Adam with his wife and daughter. Tim with his wife. Austin with his ex-girlfriend. Hey, PG. I came back like I said. After 9 inches of snow the last couple of days the Christmas songs were very welcome even if they they were a reminder of a Winter that is hopefully over now. I really enjoyed the reaction. In Grandma, the house they invaded belongs to their producer, Darren Rust. They actually record in the studio in his basement. Chris Rupp got a lot of grief about the hat in a chapel. They had permission to film there and there wasn’t a service in process, but I know a lot of folks still have a problem with it. If you watch Away in a Manager, he addresses the issue at the beginning.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone who can look so serious or so goofy as Tim. 🤣🤣 On a more serious note, it was really nice to hear Adam singing in Angels We Have Heard on High. Pecan pie at the dinner. Love it!!

Wow I come home from a Sammy Kershaw concert to see you released the Christmas video reaction! I had to watch it...it is awesome and I will probably watch it many times! I love that they don't add a lot of bells and whistle to the traditional songs! O Holy Night has always been my favorite! Austin and Tim just sing their hearts on it! I've seen all of these sang live...and I think they sound even better then the video! You should watch the very first video live and see how long Austin can hold that very last note....it's incredible. Can't wait to see part 2l. You should react to What Child Is This.....Chris R asked the guys to do it with him after he left the group...so it is the only video out there that has all 6 guys singing on it!

I think what I preferred about Home Free's Christmas songs over those of Pentatonix was that Home Frees were (with the exception, of course, of Grandma & the Reindeer) is that they were straightforward. Although the singing on Pentatonix was good, the presentations of all of them were rather too gimmicky. I'd really have found it more appealing had they just sung - I'm putting that on whomsoever produced or directed it, not on the group.

I know you did this reaction last Christmas! (I haven't had enough so I'm listening to last years too!) You may have heard it by now but you need to check out I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas by George Strait! I heard it on the radio this week and thought of you!😊 I do love these by Home Feee! HF's video of O'Holy Night was the first video of theirs I ever saw, and it blew me away. It's the reason I became a Home Fry. What I like about Home Free's "religious" Christmas songs, O' Holy Night, Silent Night...etc etc, is that they don't throw in a bunch of vocal theatrics. They sing the song and pay respect to it. If you do more HF Christmas songs, you have to see "Away in a Manger", "I'll be Home for Christmas" and "Do you hear what I Hear"! (Do you hear what I Hear, is probably the top favorite among Home Fries) I still prefer O' Holy Night though!

I used to teach preschool in a building attached to a church and practically ran through the chapel when I had my "teaching jeans etc" on.. always felt guilty though) Please do take previous advice and react to "Do You Hear What I Hear" etc.. and did you notice that Adam Rupp the beatboxer sings in many of these? Chris Rupp is the one wearing the cowboy hat. He was balding and had a very bad complex about it. He speaks of how bad he felt choosing a hat to wear in church. He has since gotten hair transplants and for the most part, has given up wearing hats altogether. I love your IRN! I have a quaker, but I've had birds all my life.

Lol, I think you are the first reactor I’ve seen to notice that Chris is wearing a hat in church! At the time he was starting to lose his hair I think and was self-conscious about it because he wore a hat in all their videos for a bit. So glad you did a whole selection of their Christmas songs! Please do "Do You Hear What I Hear". It's their best Christmas song and in my top 3 of all of their songs. It's arranged by Adam, their beatboxer. Also another good one is "Children Go Where I Send Thee" where they sing with Kenny Rogers.

Oh my goodness..... My favorite Christmas song, O Holy Night!!!!!!!! I closed my eyes to take it in. I can’t really say who I have heard sing it best. I get lost in the words of it. And when it is sang well, there’s no Christmas song that comes close to it for me.

"Angels We Have Heard On High" was the very first Home Free song I ever heard. I was hooked right from this moment!

For part 2 I'd suggest Chris Rupp's What Child Is This. Home Free made it with their ex-member Chris Rupp (he's the founder of Home Free, the brother of Adam the Beatboxer and also the infamous guy-who-wears-a-hat-in-a-church - you haven't been the only one commenting on that..! )

Don't know if you realized but the guy's house they're in is their record producer. I can't remember his name at this moment. He was asked to do a small part in the video and ended up with a much bigger part than he had planned!

Santa lives near us and we have LOTS of snow in the winter(to much I say) so just send the gyus over and I’ll show them a white x-mas...
