Austin is classically trained in musical theater, his voice professors wanted him to go to Broadway……but, are we Home Fries so Glad he did Not‼️. Everyday he does yoga, meditation & breathing exercises…& it shows in a big way‼️. He really takes care of himself ‼️🙃‼️. His solo channel has some Great work on it….Amberly does the filming on them ‼️🥰‼️. It’s under AUSTIN BROWN. HIS VERSION OF “UNCHAINED MELODY” is really Amazing, with 8.8 MILLION VIEWS 🥰‼️🥰. Just recently he did “BRING HIM HOME” from Les Miserables…it will blow your socks Off😵‍💫🥰‼️

Home Free can sing anything. A must do is “End of the Road”, Rob lead, shared with Austin. Rob absolutely shines, and every ounce of soul just pours out. Then how about a Chance lead, “I Can’t Outrun You”; 5 part harmony, hauntingly beautiful, and Chance directed the video. Then a Tim lead, “Champagne Taste (on a beer budget)”. Tim wrote it, and it’s hilarious. And I don’t think you’ve done the “Butts Medley”. Fantastic arrangement, and also hilarious.

Austin out there beltin' it out like a boss and the rest of the guys are like "We got cha' buddy" supporting full tilt. These guys are THE BOMB!

You need to put Home Free's cover of Brothers in Arms on your list.....the harmonies are beyond amazing. Percy Sledge was the original singer. If you haven't realized Home Free don't do covers....they do Enhancements....

The original version was released by Percy Sledge in 1966. Austin's dad had a traveling Southern Gospel Quartet and when he was little he traveled with his dad. He went to college for Musical Theater. He worked at Disney World in The Voices of Liberty, and then on a cruise ship. He had his beautiful girlfriend Amberly in the studio while he was singing this song. Truly enjoyed watching your reactions to this song and Austin.

Home Free doesn’t do covers! They do UPGRADES!! Austin has a degree in Musical Theater and knows how to play to a camera extremely well! Besides, his lovely lady, Amberly, was there and he was singing this to her. Check out his channel, he just released “Bring Him Home” from Les Mis and it’s fantastic! This was done during quarantine so they all recorded at home except, I believe Austin is in studio. His girlfriend is beside the camera so easy for him to give her all those sexy leers!! Austin trained & got his degree in musical theater & it was my understanding his teachers wanted him to sing opera. Each one of these guys could have a successful solo career! They do put out solo performances on their own solo channels, covers & originals, but thankfully they are true to Home Free! Together they are dynamite!💥💥💥

I think that's one thing that keeps them togethers, their outside projects that are just as important to them. Their other videos both solo and with other performers are just as amazing as Home Free as a whole.

Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

And also Tim Foust solo channel with his new Doo-wop album, where sings all the parts and harmonies himself. Check out his mashup of 'Will you still love me tomorrow/Stay'. It will blow your mind! Chance also has a solo channel with that silky smooth voice. Check out 'If I could only fly'. It's Beautiful!!! Or in the cover sung by Home Free 'Cover me up' Chance sings lead and its amazing! Percy Sledge was the first one I heard back in the mid 1960's. I believe he was the original artist to record it. Austin does Sir Percy justice but with his own style. I personally think that even though I loved the original, seeing Austin express the emotions so bang on point the this is my favorite. Ahh, the advantages of video entertainment!

Percy Sledge originally sang the song fabulously! Michael Bolton did cover it, but HOME FREE did it RIGHT!! I worried because Percy set the bar so high!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING HOME FREE SINGS; THIS WAS SPECTACULAR!!! AWESOME! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I LOVED IT!!! GOOD JOB, GUYS!Percy sang it in the 1960's!

Awesome reaction guys! The name you were trying to remember is Percy Sledge! I knew you would love this one! This was another quarantine video...Austin and his girlfriend Amberly were the only ones actually in the studio....the other 4 guys recorded from their homes and their fantastic producer mixed it all together for this masterpiece! Michael Bolton covered this song, which first came from Percy Sledge. In fact he even tried Dock of the Bay (Otis Redding). In my opinion he failed to do either justice. Home Free's version is very nice.

The original was by Percy Sledge in 1966. Then, Percy brought in Michael Bolton and made it a duet in the 80s, before Bolton released his own version in '91. Kenny Rogers also did a country version in 1996.

Yes Austin killed it. Really it's so great. But don't forget the backgrounds, Bass and Inhuman Adam who complete it all and make it sound as good as it sounds. Because although I think many of Austin and Tim's solos are very good, sometimes I have the feeling that something is missing. Like Unchained Melody which Austin sings solo and what previously said is also great, but later with Home Free is perfect for me I think it's because of the different great voices that the harmonies sound so incredible. Unlike many other groups

It's a matter of personal taste, of course, but I found the full HF version of Unchained Melody slightly annoying. I don't think it lends itself to doo-wop and I've heard enough of Tim doing doo-wop to last me a lifetime! Switching half way through to Austin giving it the works was just rather weird. His own version, with that flowing guitar from Steven Martinez, hits home through its simplicity and charm. But we can agree on this one. The blissed out background with bursts of HF Wall-of-sound, building in intensity in tandem with Austin, and Adam going nuts, make a perfect piece.

Home Free is one-of-a-kind these men are outstanding.. These are my boys 🏡🆓🏡🍟 what makes this song so good is he's looking at his girlfriend as he's singing this she's standing behind the camera..

In the summer of 1966 I was in basic training at Fort Polk, Louisiana. I think after 4 weeks we were allowed to go down to the PX and drink 3.2 beer and listen to the jukebox. The song that played on repeat constantly was "When A Man Loves A Woman." We were away from wives and girl friends for the first time in our lives and knew that was a high probability of a tour in Vietnam was in our future. This song evokes those memories even today.

When Home Free met Austin on a cruise ship he had worked very hard to get rid of his Southern twang. They asked him to bring it back. But depending on the song, he can switch back and forth without any problem. He has his own channel. There is not a bad song on it, but if you want to hear him sing without the accent (and again show off his incredible talent) listen to his version of Bring Him Home and Unchained Melody which has over 12 million views. Also check out him and Rob singing the opera aria Nessum Dorma. If you shut your eyes you wouldn't recognize them.

Austin is, to me, the best male singer I've ever come across, and I'm certain he's got more to show us. Great reaction, guys. Home Free actually calls themselves a band because of how they mimick instruments in the harmonization rather than a group like most acapella, well, groups refer to themselves as.

Austin has his own studio in his house, so he was, in all probability, the only one not lip-syching to his pre-recorded voice, so that makes it even more impressive. As a former lyric soprano, I can tell you it's hard to belt out a sing like this in a seated position. Just for fun....check out Austin and Rob singing opera.

Check out Home Free's performances on season 4 of The Sing-Off. VoicePlay was on the same show, but they only made it to the final 6. Pentatonix won season 3 of the same show. Austin studied musical theater in college.

I'm back yet again but just need to add that you've heard PTX and Home Free but to complete the holy trinity of acapella, you need to experience Voiceplay. VP has a more theatre approach, getting dressed in to character, maybe start with This is Halloween, then jump to their Mr Grinch and finish with their cover of My Mother Told Me from last year I think. Their bass guy Geoff Castellucci has some good stuff on his own, such as Blackbird, 16 tons, Monster Mash, Take Me Home Country Roads then just recently he's come out with Big Bad John. VP are friends with HF and they'll often help each other out on arrangements

I live a few blocks from the studio where the original was recorded by Percy Sledge in 1966. Michael Bolton did a remake in the 80s. I never cared for the song until I heard this version.

If you do go to Pentatonix might I recommend either Hallelujah or Bohemian Rhapsody. I have to agree though, Austen blows my mind with his breath control. I might also recommend Home Free doing Blue ain't your color. Oh and if you want your mind blown Austin and Tim both have solo work that is out of this world.
