Yes, Austin nailed it. He gives himself completely here and also plays very well with the cameras. The great harmonies, deep bass and the unbelievably freaking good beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds finish it all off for me. I think it sounds perfect because of all the different beautiful voices. I grew up performing Percy Sledge which I already loved. Then came Michael Bolton's performance where I couldn't say for sure if it was better or not. But this one from Home Free certainly is.

Loved your reaction, Yuri! You should listen to Austin sing Bring Him Home from Les Misérables (he has a degree in Musical Theatre). So emotional, powerful, just angelic! Also Rob and Austin singing Nessun Dorma. Even if opera is not your thing I'll bet you'll love it. Home Free never disappoints. Tim has a 5 octave range and can sing up into tenor. He and Austin do My Maria in Austin's back yard with Tim singing the high harmony!

You should check out Austin & Rob singing opera! You can find the video on Austin Brown’s channel. It will blow you away! Rob studied opera in college and had not sung it in over 15 years! Austin has a degree in musical theater & studied some opera. Austin talked Rob into doing the video to show off Rob’s “hidden talent”! They were both pretty nervous before releasing the video. I guarantee you will be stunned!!

Another reactor (a voice teacher) clocked parts of it at 2 octaves above the tenor staff. I think he could put so much into it since he'd had the break-up of a long time relationship and his new lady was in the studio when they filmed this. Home Free has a new video "Stargazer Trilogy: Give Me a Sign" which Austin wrote.

P.S. - He wrote (or co-wrote) the songs "Love Me Like That" and "Lonely Girls World" about the break-up and "Rest of My Life" (on his channel) for his girlfriend/partner Amberly.

Austin did a fantastic job. Tim Foust has said that Adam Rupp has the broadest range in the group. Adam's vocal exercises have produced both the highest and lowest notes in the group.

His high notes are prestine, and distinguise, and he has an awsome throat bass. When he trows those bassbombs, it's awsome.

If you want to hear how high Tim can really go, check out his Doo Wop solo of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay on his KZread channel (Tim Foust). He has a 5 octave range, so he can get right up there with the tenors.

Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

Austin crushed this one...he beat Michael Bol ton's 1991 cover and even Percy Sledge's original from 1966. He had his lady, Miss Amberly Hall right off-stage and was giving her those love sick puppy eyes looks. BRO !!! Please react to their latest one, it's an original and was co-written by Tim and Jeffrey East & another gentleman. It's called "Understand" and I think you'll really like it !!!

Austin's beautiful girlfriend Amberly was in the studio while he was singing this. They did a beautiful voice that can sing absolutely anything. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

Even though I had not heard anything I didn’t like by Home Free, it took me a while before I listened to this one. It is such an iconic song and I grew up with the Percy Sledge version. But it was amazing as I should have known! I really enjoyed the video you put out (other than that super high bridge). Do you have more to share with us?

I noticed the same about Mayday.

I respect Percy Sledge's version as the original; nice soul presentation but lacks any warmth (IMHO). Michael Bolton brought much more soul into his version--it really gives you the idea he is feeling it personally; it is the version I've had on my playlist for decades. But--Home Free's version? Austin's high notes are every bit as amazing as the others. And ALL completely acapella?!? With their harmonies and Adam's vocal percussion too?!? No solo act is ever going to best their version as far as I'm concerned. Theirs is now what plays on my regular playlist. In my opinion, Home Free OWNS this song now❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Home Free has been such a great gift to all of us--especially their extra efforts in providing us with excellent music/videos throughout quarantine and the difficult days of isolation we all dealt with during the pandemic. Their creativity in producing the "quarantine" videos--and their commitment to continuing to provide new entertainment throughout (even though they weren't even in the same state!)--has brought along many HF converts. Got to ❤️❤️❤️ Home Free!!

If you would like to see some of Tim's range, he has a CD of his own out called Many shades of me or many pieces of me. It's a Doo Whap style of music from the 50's and 60's and he does all of the parts. I hope you get to hear it. I really think he will surprise you with his range and his talent. May I recommend you start with the video to "Come go with me".

Austin can make the straightest of men WISH they were gay. He is sing to Amberly, his girl friend.

Tim and Austin give personal interviews to You Tube reactors, especially other musicians, online. They are very friendly, approachable people. You ought to get in touch with them for an interview for your channel. The acapella culture is a friendly one with artists helping each other instead of being competitive. Home Free formed close ties with the other acapella groups competing with them on The Sing Off. Home Free won the competition, but they are still friends with their fellow competitors on the show. Home Free is especially close to Voiceplay that was on the show the same season. BTW Tim has a five octave range. He can sing tenor. In My Maria by Austin and Tim, Tim sings the higher notes instead of Austin.
