I love this. I think it's one of their best. Anytime I get Home Free bell tones, I'm in.

Yeah I love it! Those harmonies are exquisite. Yes, you heard the water drop and that was Adam (he has long hair here) doing that sound and the drums. Adam grows his hair long on occasion and then cuts it to donate to kids with cancer (for wigs). He recently cut his hair. Ok left to right….Adam (beatboxer), Rob (glasses and tenor), Austin (redhead and high tenor), Chance (baritone/bass) and Tim (bass with 5 octaves who can sing tenor). Love HF and I subscribed! 😄

No that’s Adam doing the percussion you will notice he goes from having really long hair to short a lot because he grows his hair cuts it to donate for wigs for cancer patients.

They've been singing "Stand By Me" since at least their 2009 album Kicking It Old School. Only the two on the left, Adam and Rob, were even in the group then.

The same percussionist, (Adam) has longer hair here. He has grown it out a couple of times and donates it for Wigs for Kids.

Love this great classic song from Ben E. King back in 1961. The Home Free guys did an awesome version as always. Love their arrangement on this cover. Great vocal leads by Austin & Rob. Tim's bass really stands out for me in this one. And Adam's tasteful vocal percussion is on point.

They killed this. I am sure Ben E. King would be so very proud! Love your reaction! #HOMEFREE

That high harmony you referred to is likely Tim, their bass (!), who often sings the highest parts if Austin is singing a high lead. Chance then would cover bass during those sections. I don’t know for sure on this song, but some other songs Tim sings a high falsetto in are the end of Auld Lang Syne, parts of How great Thou Art, and It’s a Great Day To Be Alive.

I've always loved Ben E. King's classic & I think he'd have approved of their rendition. Their singing, harmonies & beatboxing are always fantastic. There's a live video of Tim, Austin, Ernie Halter & others singing this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pZ9kzdp_htXFmKg.htmlsi=kOmRo1HYsaInyVIy - that's just terrific.

You might like My Church. Great feel with everyone getting in on the signing. It has Chance, Chris has left by that one. Love your reactions!
