I have seen a few versions of Tim doing this song. I remember hearing the original by "Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs" in 1966. Tim has the perfect voice for this song. Amazing how high & then low he can go.

Yeah, I think the perfect thing would be WBC - Ring of Fire - Little Red Riding Hood. I asked it once for a Patreon reward on another chanel, but it didn‘t work out, sadly.

Yes, the guys invited all their patrons to the party. Of course, many couldn't make it but it was quite the crowd. I laughed so hard during that show. They said if they ever reached a certain level of support on Patreon they would throw a party for us. I believe it was 25k. I don't think they thought they would ever reach that level. Now they make close to $43k. They depend on that money to make their videos.

If you can get your hands on it, there is a CD from the acapella group Blue Jupiter. Tim was a member and they recorded this song. It is one of my favorites on the cd!

Just seeing how they messed with each other is poigant given the circumstances of being Chris's farewell party.

In all the times I have watched that, I never noticed that Tim had Adam losing it. Chris IS good, his solo and small group stuff is excellent. The pre-Sing Off shows showed off his talent as an arranger and he had a bit more 'voice' in the songs, but once Tim and Austin joined the group, and they did the Sing Off, the change in direction meant they changed their style and the need for a lovely baritone faded. Chance filled that needed but less prominent position and his ability to sing bass gave HF the ability to better use Tim's vocal versatility.

Tim is absolutely remarkable....I do prefer Chance too....I think he completed the group.

Tim has a rare and profound bass voice. Austin has a fantastic high clear tenor voice. Rob has the smoothest and soothing tenor voice. Chance completed the group with his sultry sandy baritone voice. Thus, Chance expanded the range of songs that the group can take on.

One person online said Chris actually chose Chance to take his place. I don't know if it is true, but it seems like something Chris would do.

I love this so much. I think Chance was the missing piece to this group, but I absolutely love Chris Rupp, his solo stuff is amazing, he just didn't get the chance to shine as much in home free, he was more of the background person, who did the arrangements and things. Where Chance is actually featured a lot. You should check out some of Chris's solo stuff
