I definitely think u should listen to "do you hear what I hear" it's not Christmas but that song is beyond amazing vocally and visually. Another good one for perfect placement would be "helplessly hoping"

This is the type of song that just fills you and drops you to your knees in humbleness. You can't help but feel moved when a powerful voice fills you with emotion.

Little history on Austin Brown, high tenor. His daddy was in a southern gospel quartet. He grew up singing with him. That is where he learned to sing out so well. Home Free was the name of a boat from one of their 1st financial backers to get started.

Omg.. there are so many songs! So many different genres, too! One of my favorites is an oldie.. "Country Fried Medley.". Adam Rupp , the beatboxer is truly amazing in all of the songs, but shines in that one, too. You will enjoy the "Butts Remix" too.. and their cover of "Take Me Home Country Roads" .. the list goes on and on .. and on.. Thanks for doing these reactions!

Great reaction! You are becoming a Homefry (a Homefree fan) like the rest of us. Harmonies are so on point! Such power and precision. Homefree's catalog is extensive. They sing different genres of music and all members can sing so they take turns taking the lead. So much talent!!! Member break down Bass singer with long dark hair is Tim Foust who has a 5 octave singing voice, has blown speakers with his low bass voice. To hear him share the lead check out their cover of Folsum Prison Blues. Or to hear him sing lead in the lower range voice try Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust. Will impress you im sure. One of the tenors with long hair is Austin Brown, who was classically trained, hear him sing lead in " When a man loves a woman. The other tenor , with beard and glasses is Rob Lundquist. To hear his silky soulful voice sing lead check out their cover of Boys to men End of the Road. The baritone/ bass is Adam Chance aka Chance, (who replaced the guy in the hat in this video who is Chris Rupp). To hear Chance the honey smooth voice sing lead check out their cover of Cover me up. Their beatboxer/vocal percussionist is Adam Rupp aka the freak of nature. He is the best in the biz in my opinion. And has won championships. He has a drum solo video on KZread you should check out. But pick any song by these guys and you will not be disappointed. Thank you for your reaction!

You and I got goosebumps at the same time. Home Free is so good. Loved those bell tones and everyone is so good. Yeah Tim, the bass, can sing high too. He’s got a 5 octave range. He does have a powerful voice. Love this song and their version. Great reaction and I subscribed.

  • @jackmandu

Thanks, Doc. I enjoyed the reaction. They have over 150 songs on KZread going back to their early days before they switched to Country. They’ve had several changes in the line up since Chris Rupp (baritone, cowboy hat) and his brother Adam Rupp (beat boxer, occasional tenor) started the group in 2000/2001. Chris left in 2016 and was replaced by Adam Chance. Some good ones are Helplessly Hoping (excellent, but short), In the Blood, Castle on the Hill, plus some of their original songs, like Remember This, Love Me like That, or Everything Will Be Okay.

Great reaction, love Christmas in July! Tim and Austin sounded amazing and the background harmonies were amazing.I would like to suggest two holiday songs. Do You Hear What I Hear, just because it’s fantastic. Also, Warmest Winter, title track from their holiday album. Austin Brown wrote it in memory of his Nani (bring the tissues) and it is beautiful. It brings back so many childhood memories. Thank you for reacting to Home Free!
