And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so fucking doomed. We'll save you a chair. You're about to be buried in Home Fries. Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks. God bless ‘em. All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He's a two-time world champion and there're good reasons he's called a "Freak of Nature" and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam's incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete's sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), and his drum solos. For more of Tim's seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version). For Chance's smooth baritone, check out Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome. A basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow. For Rob's smooth soul, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain't Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.) For Austin's soaring tenor, check out Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he'll sing you right out of it.) For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam's arrangement. Nothing else like it.) For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne. For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female. For more of their wonderful collaborations, check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, Children Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers, or Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Peter Hollens. Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you'll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim's mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. Don't miss their official videos. The Home Free men will often do a straight, gorgeous vocal performance, but they'll add elements of humor to the video that will leave you chuckling or even laughing out loud. (Folsom Prison Blues, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Living). Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don't just own a cover, they upgrade it.” You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.

You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.

Congrats, you found Home Free! The BEST acapella group there is, and multi-talented. They won the Sing-Off a few years ago, and they have a HUGE following who call themselves "Home Fries", of which I have been one for years! When you react to HF, the Fries will come to your channel!! YOu may even become a Home Fry yourself! Welcome!

In fact, the lower men voice is called a bass singer. Baritone is the middle range voice, and high voices are tenors singers. There are divisions in every voice, but that is the main classification

Like Dagmar said you found the best acappella band out there. They have about 200 videos to chose from. They lean country but have done many genres such as: R&B - END OF THE ROAD cover of Boyz2Men. Soul - WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN cover of Percy Sledge and LOVE TRAIN cover of O’Jays. Gospel/ inspirational - HOW GREAT THOU ART and GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN cover of Vince Gill. Funny/comedic - BUTTS MEDELY & CHAMPAIGN TASTE ON A BEER BUDGET both home free originals. There is plenty to chose from. You do need to find out why your voice was not synced to the video it was a distraction. Keep up the great reactions and have a blessed day

New subscriber! Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas! They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Robb Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!

The song (word for word) was first recorded around 1919. No one catches what the song is about. One line gives it away - “for I am bound to ride that northern railroad, perhaps I’ll die upon this train” - a slave bidding farewell to all he loves before running for freedom.

FUNNY!!, Adam the beat boxer does Drum solos. Pull up Home Free drum solo live, to hear them. Tim, the Bass singer, has broken speakers, live in shows, he goes so low.
