This is the song that converted me to a Home Fry. I'd listened to others of theirs, but between the leads, the 5-part harmonies, and the emotion that all of them -- even the harmony parts -- put into this, it's just haunting.

One of their best covers Casual, this is so deep. John Mayer's lyrics are always going to make you think. And those harmonies these boys can attain....unmatched almost

“In the Blood” is one of my favorite Home Free songs. It really pulls at my heartstrings! My one daughter is divorced and I am very concerned about her kids! Also I have eight adopted grandchildren with a couple having severe attachment disorders. I hope and pray that they will be able to have “normal” families of their own when they grow up! This song is very sad to me, but I still get hopeful vibes from it! Thanks for reacting to it.

This is what i love about home free. They do fun covers with goofy videos then they drop a beautiful cover like this. Just fantastic singers and my fav accapella band out there.

They also have a lot of originals (both Tim & Austin are song writers). Tim's originals include "Snow Globe", "Champagne Taste" and "Remember This". Austin's originals include "Love Me Like That", "California Country", "Save the World" and (on his channel) "If I Met You Now" and "Real Talk". Their repertoire covers almost every genre from goofy to opera!

This is probably one of the best songs I have ever heard in my entire life.

Home Free is always a delight to listen to, I think we’re blessed to hear them sing. However, there are some songs where the lyrics and emotions are more intense than the musicality. For me, this is one of those moments. The guys have kept it simple and honest, allowing the poignancy of the lyrics to shine through. I’m always on the verge of tears by the second verse. Kudos to whoever arranged this one. Beautiful work!

My definition of family comes from one of my favorite TV series, Supernatural. ...family don’t end in blood, but it doesn’t start there either. Family cares about you, not what you can do for them. The family you were born into, is the family you were given. Friends are the family you give yourself.

This is a good one, one of my favorites of theirs. Are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of our parents, grandparents, and so on. It’s hard to change but I don’t think we’re doomed. It takes a lot of work for sure. Great lyrics. Home Free did the song justice. Good reaction CaSual. You’re right, they can be silly or serious and I love that about them.

This is a song that hits home with me. Home Free really is so good at relaying the emotions that go with these types of songs. I know some songrwriters don't like other people singing their songs because they're personal and many singers just sing it and it doesn't mean anything. Home Free is an exception! They've taken on some songs with some really relevant social issues and relayed their point across strongly. Of course, we love their funny side, but these are so amazing!

This cover means so much to me. I’m adopted from foster care, and the lyrics hit home.

Family to me is those who have your back...and whose back you have. Peeps that accept you for your good and your bad. And for whom you do likewise.

This song gets me right in the “feels” every time.

One of my absolute favorite songs of theirs!! To me, Family is both. Blood is blood, but not all blood is really 'family', which are those who love and care about you, and are supportive of you (and willing to speak up when you're making decisions that will harm you, simply because they DO love you). Family may fight amongst themselves, but if an outside force comes along you have each other's backs. Just my opinion.

This is one of my favorite Home Free covers. I’v never heard the original by John Mayer, and I probably never will because this one is so hauntingly beautiful. The message and the harmonies are to die for. Great reaction.

Thank you for a wonderful reaction to this video!! I'm adopted, and while I'm not related by blood to parents or my brother (also adopted), they, along with my daughter and her hubby and three kids, mean the world to me. I'm lucky enough to have some forever friends that I also consider part of my family. Family isn't always blood, to be certain, but family (however it's come by) is the most important part of my life.... always has been, always will be.

I was raised in a broken home. I have the best mom anyone could ask for. My dad may he RIP had a drinking problem that seemed to make him very mean to my mom other than his drinking problem he was a good moral man. I thank God that him and I made things right between us before he passed. Me my sis and brother couldn't love each other more. Someone reflecting on the mistakes and heartache his parents caused, and wondering if he has the strength to be a better man, or is he destined to repeat that heartache to himself and others that try to love him.
